I really enjoyed this trip overall. I felt the pace was good (busy, but not overwhelming) and both guides were knowledgeable & friendly. I preferred the Jordan guide (Osama Al Ziyoud) to the Israel guide (Saki Columbus) for several reasons: Sam gave daily updates on expectations of times/stops/activities/etc. Saki never did. When asked a question, Sam made sure to find the answer and follow up – Saki never did. Sam did tell biblical stories, but Saki repeated many biblical stories over and over (quite tiresome for those of us that didn't care about stories). We repeatedly asked Saki if we could stop at a grocery store & get lots of bottled water for the group to share (we offered to pay because this bus was not provided with water) and he said yes 2 days in a row, and both days managed to not make it happen. Water was a very annoying issue on the Israel side of the trip. In Jordan, our bus was stocked with it – we ALL were very very grateful! I felt the Jordan hotels were nicer than the Israeli, and the Movenpic at the Dead Sea was absolutely my favorite! All in all, I'd rate this trip an A-!

Great chronological tour of the religious sites in Israel. We traveled on to Jordan and found the culture and history fascinating.

We had two tour directors. Mr. Kolumbus in Israel who was satiasfactory. Then, we had Osomma Ziyoud in Jordan who was high energy and excellent. This survey does not let you adequately rate each guide. so, I would rate Mr. Kolumbus as good and Osomma Ziyoud as excellent.
