About 2 months after booking, the travel agency (Egyptology Travel) increased the price already paid by 17.5 percent. The Nile cruise was well organized, the guide very educated. What was annoying was the constant excessive expectation of tips. Of the 3 nights, we spent two in Luxor. The huge number of ships parked so close together that you can't see out the window and there is a tremendous amount of noise from the neighboring ship. Who expects a romantic boat trip, is here out of place. The program was very good and structured, even if the entrance fees for the temples and tombs are excessive.Show moreTrip date: October 2023

The ship accommodations were good, however a lot of times the hallway to the rooms would often smell like cigarette smoke. Our room had an issue with the AC not cooling and we had to switch rooms. Also, the bathroom in both rooms had a leak from the toilet and our floor was always wet. The food was a bit repetitive and wasn’t always appealing, and you are charged for any drinks including water. However, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and the laundry service was fantastic. Our guide for the cruise was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
