However, we found that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the additional knowledge of our guide which we would not have accessed if we travelled independently. The tour was well organised, interesting and was a very efficient way to see many different sites in a short space of time. The hotels were impressive and comfortable. All the places were amazing and the extra guides in Agrigento, Lorenzo were also excellent. The food in a couple of the Hotels was a little disappointing. The bus driver Angelo also very very good. I do feel the bus and how people chose their seats was not organized. I have been on other tours where seats were rotated to make it fair so that the same people not stuck in the back.Show moreTrip date: June 2019

- Regina· June 12th, 2019Included destinations were a "must-see" for a comprehensive tour of Sicily. I feel it should have been more spread out by 1 or 2 days so as not to feel so rushed; some days with too many hours on the bus and too early a start in the day. Placido was a very good guide. His flluency in English was very good albeit sometimes difficult to understand ( pronunciation.) Also, perhaps too much detail in historical context for the casual (non-academic) tourist. The included dinner in Pallermo, by general consensus of the tour members, was not good. Many dinners left unfinished on the table...warm pasta with fish.
