  My Kilimanjaro trek with Benson of Zara Tanzania Adventures is unforgettable and probably the hardest physical test I have ever accomplished. The trek is unbelievably hard because of the cold and altitude and I am sure that I would not have made it to the summit without the crew's support. They were knowledgeable about the terrain and how best to tackle the trek. The office team had planned and provided enough manpower, equipment and supplies for the trek. We were lucky that the weather was clear and there were fewer other climbers on the mountain at this time so I really enjoyed the experience. Thank you all from Zara Tanzania Adventure for an incredible experience.

  My brother and I booked the 7 days Machame trek with Zara Tours. The itinerary was well planned allowing us enough time to acclimatize which eventually contributed to our successful summit. The pace was slow and allowed us to enjoy the views from above the clouds from the third day. The weather was good and we had an unforgettable time with our guides Bakari and Shem. They were experienced, kind and patient with us. They shared interesting stories about Kilimanjaro and also taught us about the plants and climbing safety. They made sure we ate right during the meal times and the snacks we had at the various stops. If you are considering trekking up Kilimanjaro, make sure you contact a reliable operator with experienced guides and the right equipment because the quality of support you get determines the outcome.

  Climbing Kilimanjaro with Zara Tours was an amazing experience. This was especially nice because I shared the experience with my husband and we got the chance to feel raw nature, clean mountain air, awesome panoramic views, outdoor camping and the company of some amazing people - our crew. Our crew was amazing, they handled every aspect of the trek professionally and were genuinely interested in our well being. The trek was physically demanding and very rewarding. I cannot equate anything to the joy and exhilaration that we felt when we got to the summit. Thank you Zara Tours for we perfectly organized trip that was pocket friendly too.

  We summitted on Kilimanjaro via the Machame route in 7 days and it was an awesome adventure. Tough but awesome! I appreciate the hard work put in by our crew, they were super outstanding, taking care of of all our needs while keeping us safe and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the crew, starting with setting up of the camps, great spacious tents, comfortable sleeping bags and even had sleeping hot bottles to battle the cold. The food was awesome and we had large filling portions. The guides were knowledgeable, patient and friendly. They made us feel like we were part of one large family. A big thank you to the entire Zara Tours team for making our Kilimanjaro dream come true.

  I did the Kilimanjaro Machame 6 days with Zara Tours and it was perfect. I was a bit concerned to go on a solo trek but it turned out great. Food was exceptional and the tent comfortable however it was Frazier my guide who wowed me. I count myself lucky to have been paired with such an experienced and charming person. He took care of all the aspects of the climb and made sure I was safe and comfortable at all times. I was happy to get hot water to wash in the morning and afternoon and the private toilet is a must have. I was sad to goodbye to Frazier and his team. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

  The top-class service by Zara tour deserves 100% recognition and appreciation. We were in good hands as we were handled by professionals throughout. Timely pick up from the airport, organized our hotel in Moshi, checking and completeness of the equipment and above all the best crew. We enjoyed the trek and appreciate the hard work that everyone put in. We hope to return for a safari trip soon

  My brother and I joined a couple from Spain for the 8 days Machame trek with Zara Tours. Guides Jangala and Robson were outstanding. I was impressed by their passion and duty for care for the four of us. They knew how to keep us in the game with advice, songs and banter as we traversed the changing Kilimanjaro habitats. Climbing got tougher as we went higher where the air is thin and strong cold gusts blow relentlessly. We were lucky to have strong tents that kept the rain out, the padded hot water bottles came in handy and kept our bodies warm from the freezing cold. The toughest section was ascending to the summit, my brother and I were with Robson while Jangala supported Mateo and Maria, all in a single file moving towards the summit. We made it to Uhuru Peak just before dawn and it was an incredible achievement. I recommend Zara Tours for Kilimanjaro climbing

  We did the Machame 7 days with Zara Adventures. The booking process with Rahid was smooth. he allowed us to select the date that suited our program and customize the trip to suit our budget. Rashid was always quick to respond to our emails with detailed answers to our never-ending queries. We had an outstanding team of guides (Goodluck, Boney, Iddy and Paul) supporting our big party of nine retired teachers from Frankfurt. From the nine who embarked on the trek eight of us reached the summit. Thank you Boney for helping our friend Hegla who had serious altitude sickness back to Moshi. She is now better and safely back with her family in Bornheim. Thank you Zara Tours for hosting us perfectly. This company is a cut above the rest!

  Last month I traveled to Tanzania with three friends to attempt Kilimanjaro's Uhuru peak. We selected Zara Tours because they were top rated and offered the level of comfort we desired at a very reasonable cost. I am happy to report that the overall experience was amazing, exceeding all our expectations. Our quest backed by an amazing crew of guides, porters and cook who made the climb comfortable and fun. The equipment provided was excellent; tents that kept us warm, sheltering us from the cold gusts blowing hard at the higher altitudes, spacious mess tent for our meals and evening banter and a mobile toilet for our biz. I have to commend the whole team for perfect execution; care, motivation and support whenever we needed it. It would have been an impossible quest without their support. We all reached the summit on January 27 which is a great achievement. I have nothing but praise for Zara Tours and will return soon to do a safari with them.

  What an amazing experience this was. It is impossible to include all, but everything from start to finish was well organised and ran smoothly. The whole team - both those on the mountain and those working at the hotel - was handling everything professional, the most friendly people I have ever met and they all just wanted to enure everything was in place for you to succeed in sumitting. And not to forget, that the food was some of the best I have ever had!
