  Every aspect of our trek was impeccable. From the moment we landed in Kilimanjaro airport to the mountain and up to our departure yesterday we were in good hands. I want to commend the crew of guides, porters and cook for a job well done. They took excellent care of us in guiding us on the trail, helping us settle in the campsites along the way and creating the best conditions in the tough environment. I appreciate what might seem like small comforts like the portable toilet, hot water bottles, sleeping mats, a spacious mess tent..... and the great food, because these all these things were brought to the mountain by the porters. We are truly grateful to the entire Zara Tanzania Adventures team for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend them for Kilimanjaro trekking.

  We finally did Kilimanjaro with Zara Tanzania Adventures and it was an unforgettable experience. We chose to go with Zara because they were reasonably priced and Hamisi the trip designer inspired confidence in the company from the professional way he handled the booking. We are really happy with Zara, the trek was tough but it turned out better than we expected. They gave us a great crew of professional guides/porters/cook/waiters to go with us. These guys treated us well and took great care of us. The weather was great and we enjoyed great trekking, though it was tough due to the terrain, high altitude and bitter cold. The 6 of us managed to summit and we could not have done without the support. Thank you Zara Tanzania Adventure for making it possible for us achieve this feat. Asante Sana

  This trip is hands down the toughest thing I have ever done in all my life however it was all worth it. We chose the Lemosho route which was a good option because we had time to acclimatize to the high altitude and also enjoyed some fantastic views as we trekked. It was really cold and windy and the weather was really terrible on the summit night but we had an incredible crew supporting us. The tents, food and the other equipment provided was top class. I want to appreciate the invaluable support from our crew. The guides, porters and cook were all awesome, they all deserve the commendation and good words of appreciation. Asante sana Benson and your team, you were all wonderful.

  Our trek with Zara Tanzania Adventures crew was amazing. The climbing party was led by Faustin assisted by Jerome. They were always by our side and ready to help with anything that we needed. They looked after us excellently making sure that we were safe, in great health and making sure that we acclimatized to the high altitude so as to go for the summit. We owe our successful summit to their support. The equipment was excellent and we had enough to eat and drink. Special thanks to the entire team for an amazing time from start to finish. They were absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures.

  We recently completed a Kilimanjaro trek to the summit in Tanzania and it was amazing. Our guides Juma and Fadhili were outstanding! Both are highly experienced in guiding clients successfully to the summit. Their knowledge of the route was evident as they knew the best places to rest, how hard to push and all the lovely spots for picnics and photos. They taught us so much about Kilimanjaro's history, local culture and everything Tanzania. The trip was perfectly organized and resourced. We had great equipment, amazing food prepared fresh by our chef Julius. I have to thank these guys for doing an incredible job

  The trek is absolutely unforgettable. Everything about it was just perfect, from the crew, food and the route was beautiful as we coursed through different habitats. Our Chief guide Yesse Lema created a family like environment where everyone in our group was welcomed into and cared for. The atmosphere was great as I interacted with climbers from other parts of the world making new friends. The course is beautiful as we passed through changing habitats learning a lot from the crew as they taught us about the mountain. We had many special moments including the summit night as we made the final push from Barafu Camp, where the crew helped us in so many ways to reach the summit. The weather was great all through and we totally loved the experience.

  Yesse is genuinely such an amazing guide, knowledgeable about its history, culture and the safety standards from the numerous trips he has undertaken guiding climbing parties. The people at Zara really know how to organize trips up Kilimanjaro. They have the right equipment, their crew are experienced and well trained professionals and they provided us with the best support system. We all got along well with the entire crew and enjoyed being with them. The weather was fantastic and we progressed well with the trek without any difficulties. I give them 10/10 for excellence. They are also pretty affordable for such top service and support.

  In October 2024, my brothers and I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Zara Tours. The trek turned out to be really amazing and I wholeheartedly recommend the route, our guide Lema and Zara Tours for the being outstanding. Our tour designer Hamisi organized everything perfectly and assigned us the wonderful crew. The guides observed our safety religiously with daily health checks to check on our vitals. They ensured that we ate well and slept in comfortable tents. These guys were always ready to assist when needed them. They were also fun people to be around. We all reached the summit and could not have done it without Zara's support.

  We have just completed the Lemosho trek in 8 days with guide Basili, our lovely porters. Ben, Liam, Kileo, Bunda, Tami, Sulla and our great cook Bario.   The entire Zara Adventure Tanzania team was absolutely amazing because they did such an awesome job that the 8 days of tough trekking on the tough terrain were enjoyable and so memorable. We were a little bit scared of sending thousands of dollars to an unknown company but after reviewing the company’s profile and also contacting them we were quickly reassured and true to their word, they delivered everything that we wanted. The actual trek was awesome. Well planned and perfectly executed with the support of expert guides, porters and cooks. The level of support and attention is second to none. Zara is the shining star in Tanzania’s travel space.
