- KGKathleen· July 26th, 2024I thought this was a guided tour. We had absolutely no direction. The only thing they do is book your rooms and transportation from place to place. I would never book with them again. I felt for the most part I spent a lot of time being driven somewhere with no idea what to do once there. The description of the optional things to do is very misleading. This was by far my least favorite vacation I have ever been on. If this was explained ahead of time I could have at least checked into things to do. For instance the Ute era ray on day 8 isays head towards the area of Vara Blanca to visit the bewildering la Paz waterfalls and gardens. So one would believe this is something planned and included. Not so! Dropped at hotel and ask about it, sure they can take you. The ride is 73$ and entry to the gardens another 70ish$ per person. I would not book with them again.Show more

Rincon De La Vieja / Arenal /La Fortuna/ Sarapiqui / San Jose / La Paz Watefall Gardens & Animal Sanctuary / Jaco. So on this package you will get to see Rainforests, Tropical Forests, Dry Forests, Volcanos, Rainforest River Channels, Local Lifestyle, Jaco Beach and hundreds of various different types of wildlife that exist in the 28 different Microclimates that exist. Note: I purchased an additional 6 tours on top of the 2 that are included in Tortuguero to include: Safari Hikes, Night Safaris, Hot Springs, Volcano Hikes, ATV package. Because of this I would only reccomend the extra tours for someone physcially fit without limitations. However the two included tours do not require any major physical requirements other than climbing about 12 stairs in and out of a boat. Also after talking to others i realized my tour was relatively less in price than others who paid to come to Costa Rica so this is very good price.
