Sheila· October 22nd, 2019We had an amazing dare I say life changing experience. There were four of us, we have traveled together all over the world for 25 years. We all agreed that this trip was the best. All the normal things were great, the food, the accommodations, the transportation but the highlight was the our guide and the people he introduced us to. We arrived in Marrakech and spent the night in a riad Khalil arranged for us. Their hospitality was most welcome after our long flight. The next day we left with Khalid and our driver for our drive to the desert camp. The drive was long but the beauty of the country was beyond description. Khalil took time to explain where we were going and what we were seeing. He also shared information about the history of his country. Our next riad that night was perfect and the food was delicious. The next day we arrived at the camp in Erg Chigaga and were blown away. It took all of us awhile to get our brains around the beauty of our surroundings. The camp was incredibly well put together and comfortable. The desert was the main event. The quiet, the stars, the darkness the sunrise over the dunes, so beautiful. Khalil and his staff went above and beyond and we all would highly recommend him if you are considering making this trip. Tour Radar was a joy to work with, their responses were prompt and their system well organized. Trip date: October 2019- DKDeborah· September 15th, 2019For $2000 Canadian for a luxury Sahara experience for 2 people 4 of us were crammed into a 4 wheel drive car (5 including the driver) for 8-9 hours per day. The food was less than average. The accommodation was very average with horrible uncomfortable beds and pillows. It felt like a piece of board not a mattress at all. We didn’t sleep most of the night. It was poorly organized at the camp.
