Dislikes: -The multiple pause stops are only in touristic areas; was wanting to buy fruits at stops but most had only chips, cookies, ice cream for sale. -Wish I wasn’t forced to go with the guide in Ben Aït Haddou; I really wanted to only explore outside of it on my own and not go inside the village and just let us know where the meet up was for the lunch spot.Show more
Trip date: April 2024- Ben· April 19th, 2023Intense but worth it! Ideal for a short stay for small budgets. Yes, the road is long from Marrakech (about 11h) but the landscapes are worth the detour. Transport by minibus not very comfortable but frequent breaks. Decent accommodation. The experience of the night at the camp was exceptional and the sunset over the Sahara breathtaking.
