We enjoyed riding the camels in the desert between from location to location. Our guide was exceptional and took the time to answer all our questions. Dislikes: -The multiple pause stops are only in touristic areas; was wanting to buy fruits at stops but most had only chips, cookies, ice cream for sale. -Wish I wasn’t forced to go with the guide in Ben Aït Haddou; I really wanted to only explore outside of it on my own and not go inside the village and just let us know where the meet up was for the lunch spot.Show more

The activities combine nature, indigenous Moroccan art and culture, and history. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed, and everyone we interacted with showed us incredible hospitality. Luxury camping in the Sahara under the stars was an amazing experience. Great value for money considering it covers very long trips, half board and accommodation. Our driver Mohammed was cool, calm and collected and really personable. The lunches were not of amazing quality for the prices, and some parts of the tour focus on promoting products, e.g. handmade carpets. However, the guides were very knowledgeable and very funny. Make sure you have enough cash for lunch and snacks as no cards are accepted anywhere. Transport by minibus not very comfortable but frequent breaks. Decent accommodation. The experience of the night at the camp was exceptional and the sunset over the Sahara breathtaking.
