The entertainment at night was the same musician singing the same songs every night. Maybe have some games or trivia to do. He could do name that tune. - JBJennifer· October 1st, 2023Unfortunately this cruise did not even come close to expectations. The one positive aspect was the crew. They were professional, courteous and overall just lovely to interact with. The MS Crucevita, however, is in real need of refurbishment. Cabins are very small, old and tired looking. The air conditioning only seemed to work at the front of the ship in the bar, not in the cabins, and it was unseasonably hot. The food, while usually presented well, was very basic and bland and almost tasteless. The quality of ingredients being disappointing. Unfortunately, the same was true for the wine that is included in the beverage package. It is large, boxed wine that really was a travesty for being in Europe. The only entertainment was an older gentleman playing music from the 40’s and 50’s on an electric keyboard, hence, the bar was almost always empty. The ports we docked in were usually in industrial areas, requiring a bus trip to get to anything scenic. The exception was an approximately 60 km stretch of the Rhine that was very picturesque, but this was only one day. - DBDonna· September 20th, 2023We really loved our river cruise. Our room was much nicer than expected. We had a juliet balcony which was really nice. Very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. A place for everything to unpack. The staff were just so nice and helpful always with a big smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The food could have been better but overall wasn't too bad and some of it was really good.
