  The driver's and tour guides were very friendly and courteous. The overnight train to Luxor from Cairo was uncomfortable, the seats were caved in and there is no way to know when you reach your destination so you have to make sure you ask someone to let you know when you reach your stop. Also I pointed out that upon completion of the tour, customer's should not be dropped off at airports for prolonged periods of time without first informing the customer. I was dropped off 12 hours before my flight departure and could not check in or leave the airport without police permission. It was said my flight changed is the reason this happened but that is not true as I had informed all the tour guides and driver's of my flight departure right down to the driver who took me to the airport. Had I known I could not check in unless 2 1/2 hours prior to flight I would have had the driver take me somewhere else. The airport personnel escorted me to a nearby hotel where I could get food, charge my cell phone, etc. until departure time. Also, there is no internet at the airport and the power outlets are round so if you have the typical prongs for your cell phone you will be screwed.

  Amazing journey in Egypt Khaled our guide was knowledgeable and informative. His English was really good and he made it very interesting.   I can say the tours itself were EXCELLENT (Cairo and Luxor). The guides shared a lot of interesting things and were very friendly. What I didn't like was the train to Luxor, its very old, dirty and takes too long to arrive, it comes late or goes too slow, it is also suuuuuper cold, so you better bring a blanket, they put the AC like in 10 degrees and the bathroom is disgusting. The train was the worst part of the trip, but what to do, we chose this option xD The Hotel in Luxor was a very nice 5 stars resort next to the Nilo, with 2 pools and several restaurants. That was a surprise for us, considering the hotel in Cairo was not the best, inside was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful, however the are where it was located was not nice at all.

  Overal we rated the itinerary average because there were some last minute changes. We arrived at 8 am so we were easily able to add a day trip to Memphis, Saqqara, and Dahsure. We would highly recommend this. The day trip to Giza and the musseum went as planned, but the changes came when we went to Luxor. We understood that when we arrived we would go to the hotel and freshen up then sight see the West bank in the afternoon. Instead, we were picked up and went straight to the west bank because we couldn't get into the hotel till noon. Our guide also informed us that we could do both sides of the Nile all in one day (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple) then go on another day trip to Abydos Temple and Dendera Temple the next day. We decided to do this because we had plenty of time. We really enjoyed seeing the extra sights, but it would've been nice to know what we were going to do before we got there. The transportation was fine. We felt somewhat uncomfortable taking the overnight train as two single women not realizing we would not be accompanied by our guide. Upon arrival in Luxor our guide was 15 minutes late to pick us up. The accommodations in Cairo was very nice. The hotel in Luxor was safe, but could use some updating. If we went again we would wear pants or longsleaves. Overall we enjoyed the trip; we felt like the price was fair, and our guides were knowledgeable.

  Fantastic tour Communication before the tour was straightforward and polite. My guide Mohamed in Cairo met me at the airport with a driver. He is super friendly and easy going and immediately I knew it was going to be a good day! In Luxor We toured the sights on the East and West banks. Hany was really well informed about all periods of Egyptian history and he explained everything really well. His English is excellent and accent easy to understand. Overall, it was a great tour. I learnt so much in a short time and I didn’t feel rushed at all, I recommend Egypt Best Holidays without a doubt :)
