Things didn't match up to all the description, and seem like everywhere was more money although everything was already supposed to be paid for.

Had a wonderful time, operators were great and timely communication throughout the entire tour. Hotels were clean and friendly. Only suggestions would be to leave Manila and Puerto Princesa out of the tour if getting to the other destinations allow for it.

The trip was wonderful in that it consisted of a lot of activities which helped me to see a lot of places. I usually plan my own trips, but as a single female traveling in the Philippines, I opted to doing a coordinated tour with drivers. Although, the quick moving around became exhausting. At each place I went, there was a different local company that would coordinate the activities. Some were better at communicating than others. The part that I was most displeased was the hotels that were booked at some of the locations. The first hotel had yellow stains on the sheets and I had to call the front desk for them to change the sheets which they had a difficult time finding other sheets without yellow stains. Toward the trip I was booked into a hotel far away from the town center and was not included breakfast (normally it is included), but because of the booking method it was not included. To summarize, I felt safe while traveling around the Philippines, but with a few tweaks the tour could be better.

The overall experience was really good and the places we visited were beautiful. I enjoyed all activities included in the tour. The transport between the various locations/activities/airport/hotels were all timely - all the local providers have been very professional. The main area of improvement is around the accommodation. Boracay - Red Coconut The location is great and close to all amenities. The hotel was clean and staff welcoming. However, the hotel is surrounded by bars which play music until 2am, so that is the earliest you can think about going to bed, which is really not that great. I would recommend finding another alternative in a quieter part of the island, even if it is a bit more expensive. I doubt people will complain about having a decent night's sleep. Cebu - Red Planet The hotel was not great at all, the room was so small that we had to block the entrance in the room, as that was the only space that allowed us to open the luggage. Location was ok. A better hotel alternative should be found. Manila - Lub di Makati Whilst we had our private bathroom and the room was good, I was surprised that the accommodation was a hostel rather than a hotel. We were on the 11th floor but the room was noisy. Breakfast was included but it was below decent. Puerto Princesa The hotel had bad reviews on Booking.com. No wi-fi in rooms, you had to be close to reception area to catch some signal. Our room was ok, no particular issues found for the one night that we stayed there, despite the bad reviews. Location not great, closest restaurant was 20min walk away, although tuk-tuks are available for a cheap fee. El Nido Great location and the quality of the hotel was very good. Noisy room, due to proximity to bars and traffic. Coron Best hotel we stayed at during our holiday in the Philippines. Quiet rooms which allow guests to rest. It is c45min walk away from the restaurants but the tuk-tuk is cheap so getting there is not necessarily an issue. Although location is not ideal, it does allow guests to enjoy their time in a quite place, without the buzzing traffic and loud music. Probably the only hotel which does not need an upgrade. Overall, I would suggest investing in better hotels and provide travelers with an option to upgrade for an additional fee.

Tour was outstanding. So well organised, an amazing way to see some of the beautiful sights the Philippines has to offer in such a short amount of time. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable, activites were so much fun! Completely worth it and I will highly recommend this trip to my friends!

My partner and I chose this tour because it specified “private” and no more than 8 people. We also liked the sound of the things we would be doing. Unfortunately due to the volcano erupting in Taal and stay in a “fancy” hotel we were unable to do that tour and they arranged for us to do a bike ride tour around Manila instead, this tour was quite boring and also the hotel we stayed in was not fancy and as small as a shoes box that we couldn’t even unpack our suitcases we had to put it on the bed. When we got to the hotel in Boracay we stayed at a place called the Red Coconut. Our room was next to the pool on the bottom floor which also was where the bar was and would turn into a club at night time. We got reception to upgrade us to another room and we were happy to pay the extra money ourselves just so we could get a good nights sleep as we were here for 3 days. The first two nights were horrible we got next to no sleep with music playing until 2 am in the morning, and the bed had bed bugs which my partner had a huge rash on his back from, looking at previous reviews on that hotel customers had also said the same thing with also a picture.By the third day we decided to ask our tour advisor if there was anyway for them to help us book another room in which she said we would have to do it ourselves and ask the manager for a refund, the only thing she did was give advise on another hotel that would be quieter to book, she didn’t care. We had no luck getting our money back from Red Coconut so we then had to book and pay for another hotel ourselves just so we could get a good nights sleep. When we were leaving porta princess, we had just finished a tour we had been on since 8 am and got back to the hotel at 3:30 we notified the man that was picking us up we had gotten back and he said to wait we should expect to to picked up in an hour, on the itinerary it said pick up at 4 but we were happy to wait, when he finally came to pick us up which was at 6 30pm the van was full, there was NO room for us to sit or pack our luggage so they rang to get another van, this van was taking us to Elnido which was a 5 hour drive. Once the new van came, they said they were doing the rounds to pick up people on the way... again we thought we paid the extra money because it was “Private” So we ended up asking if we could pay for them to private transfer us ourselves, which was another extra cost to the “holiday” once we got to the hotel at 12:15 at night we noticed there was only sheets on the bed, I went and asked reception for a blanket to a reply they had none! We messaged the tour representative again to let her know about the transport and hotel to which we got an apology and she would talk to them about the no blanket situation... This was quite a stressful holiday, the majority of the hotels were uncomfortable or had something wrong with them to tv not working and not being able to sleep because of the noise.. which isn’t that the purpose of a hotel.. to sleep?? Also the tours you go on do have more than 8 People. The itinerary was conflicting on certain days so we would have to message to find out what was the actually leave/ arrival time The only real high lights for us was swimming with the whale sharks, kawallsen falls and going home!!! Unfortunately would not recommend this tour it was underwhelming and disappointing

The tour was ideal for me as a solo traveller allowing me to slot the trip into the exact dates of my holiday, even leaving out one part to make it work. Despite my flight date being changed by my airline at the last minute, I was still able to adjust my trip without missing out on any major part. Communication was available at any time should any concerns arise. I was surprised how much of the Philippines I covered in a short time.

The trip was great! I travelled with my mum and dad and we all really enjoyed it! The accommodation in most places was comfortable but the hotels in Boracay, Puerto Princesa and Tagaytay were way above what we expected! The activities included were great! Unfortunately, the underground river tour was cancelled due to bad weather but we were taken on an alternate tour and were given a small refund from Do ou Travel for the inconvenience.

My husband and I chose this trip as we were looking for a Philippines package that wasn't a group tour. The trip was fantastic! The itinerary was amazing and some of the places we stayed were just superb! Would highly recommend this tour for people who like a little more comfort when they are travelling!
