Warm Regards, Team Alkof HolidaysTrip date: April 2022 - DDon· January 2nd, 2020This was a good tour. However, I would warn future travelers that this is not a fully escorted tour. You will have a driver (who may not may not be fluent in English) and then different local tour guides at each destination. I would also warn that you will spend A LOT of time in a car driving down very bumpy roads through the heart of India - this tour is not for the faint of heart! I am not sure that the company fully vetted the Buddhist Tour with Taj before we went on the trip, as we went to two different boarder crossing before being allowed into Nepal, and the two previous attempts were very unnerving when the military questioned us. Also, the driver did an amazing job, but it was clear that he had never done the trip before, because he stopped and asked strangers on the street to give him directions to the attractions on the itinerary.
