  I just returned from the 13 day Japan tour and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. It was lovely to have so many immersive experiences but then also having free time almost each day to be able to explore the things we wanted to in Japan that wouldn't be on the tour. Our group leader, Lachie, was top-notch and made the trip so much fun from recommendations to us not having to worry about a single travel plan at all. Would highly recommend Intro!

  We had a great time in Japan with a lot of memorable experiences and our tour guide Lachie was really nice and helpful. The most exciting moments for me were seeing the snow monkeys, the time in the buddhist monastry and the Samurai experience.

  Very enjoyable experience with a nice balance of fun and historical activities throughout, Great for either a solo or group traveler. Caro was informative and if I had any question I felt comfortable enough to ask her and I knew I’d get a helpful answer in return, also having someone who actually knows a complicated country like Japan just made everything so much easier and took the stress off me. Would definitely do it again and highly recommended.

  This trip was amazing! As someone who is in love with Japan and its culture I was extremely excited for this trip and can happily say it didn’t disappoint! Obviously you can’t even scratch the surface of what Japan has to offer in 13 days, but what is covered in the 13 days is incredible! We got to experience the busy, otherworldly side of Tokyo and then a few days later go to the snowy mountains of Koyasan in a 1000 year old temple. Obviously a bit relies on the group you get put with, but I can say that I got extremely lucky with my group in how everyone glued together straight away and enhanced the experience more then I could imagine. On top of that a lot of the success of the groups comes down to the leaders, which I once again seemed to strike luck with. My leader Dan was the full package! I can’t imagine the stress that leaders go through to make everything work with looking after groups of 16 in a foreign city🫣. But Dan managed to look after all of us, get us from A to B with as little stress as possible whilst catering for everyone’s needs along the way which isn’t an easy task at all. On top of this my birthday was on a day of the trip and I can say that it was celebrated in style🥳. I’m not sure if all leaders do this but Dan went out his way to see it was my birthday (without me saying a word) and made it known throughout the group which made the day extremely special and even got me a little cake 🍰. To go even further he takes time out of his free time to take us to extra places he knows about like extra temples in the area or even one night took us all bowling. Even if these are small acts, to us who are so excited to see all these places offer, these gestures mean a lot. I couldn’t recommend this trip or Dan as a leader any more!

  I recently finished the 13 day Japan Adventure with Intro Travel, it was an incredible experience! The tour is very full on, but there's also plenty of free time which you can use to relax or explore. There's so many cool activities included such as sushi and origami making, visiting temples and even an authentic Samurai experience. I would like to give a huge shout-out to our group leader Dan, who really looked after us and took care of all the stress of transport ( which can be very complicated to navigate in Japan) recommendations for amazing food throughout the trip, and onward travel plans etc, allowing us all to just fully enjoy Japan without any worries at all! Even though I've done group tours before, it is still daunting going solo. However, over the 13 days, you make such amazing friendships and it feels like you've known your group all your life! I really, really recommend the tour, and I would have done the 17 day tour if I could!

  Amazing company that got me introduced to Japan and in the future new Zealand! Takes the stress away from travelling to new destinations with amazing guides! Special shout out to Dan, he's a master at his craft, he could have done half of what he did and still be a 5 out 5 guide, he's the literal definition of going above and beyond! If he ran a tour in the place I hate the most in the world I'd still do it as I know I'd have an amazing time!

  The Japan tour was one of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken. The food was delicious and everything we visited was very interesting and beautiful. But it wouldn't have been nearly as nice without our tour guide Dan. He had extra information at every location and no matter what, he was super helpful. He also helped me a lot with planning before and especially after the tour.

  We have just completed the most amazing Japan trip lead by Dan. His attention to detail, knowledge of the country and just all round amazing guy really made this trip one of our favourites. The whole experience was easy from start to finish and the efforts made by Intro and Dan have not gone unnoticed! All the included activities were incredible as well as the cultural experiences which were life changing. We absolutely will be back for more !
