  Frank and his crew did an amazing job accomodating my needs and getting me up the mountain, the guide (Noel) had excellent knowledge of the mountain and the whole crew were lovely to work with, I would happily have them take me anywhere; they even helped me out when I missed a flight on the way there.

  We took the Lemosho route with the team led by Arnold and crew who were very professional. You could feel that they were experienced in managing the climb and they went that extra mile to make sure everything went smooth. Even with the uncertainty of the weather. It was a very scenic and beautiful route. The food was great and there was plenty of it. All in all, we had a fantastic Kilimanjaro climb with Steppe Dogs Adventures.

  I and my friends booked a trip with Steppe Dogs adventures for a 8 day hike in the Lemosho route. Little did we know that was the beginning. Frank the operations manager was so helpful he had us stay longer in Moshi for more trips that planned for us and sure we were comfortable doing them. Also during the kilimanjaro hike Chief guide and his crew were of so much help through the hike that they went above and beyond to make sure we summitted the mountain. Seriously folks you won't get better service than the workers here at Steppe Dogs Adventures. They will make sure you happy from flying in to flying out.

  The entire process of prepping to completing the hike was so easy! The entire team from Steppe Dogs Adventures was Daines! Frank made sure we were fully prepared and knowledgeable before we ever stepped foot on the mountain. Our guide and his team were always there to answer every question we had along the way. Roman our chief guide and assistant guides and every single porter were completely dedicated to successfully getting our group to the summit, making sure to cater to each person's individual needs along the way. The whole crew would sing and route us on when they saw us struggling and really needed that encouragement. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience, and made great friends with the whole team! They even hooked us up with a home made traditional meal back in town at the end of our trip. Even with the struggles and minor altitude headaches and nausea, we all want to do it again, some day in the future, but try a different route to really get to know the mountain! Strongly recommend these guys!!

  We took a 8 Day Lemosho route To Kilimanjaro With Chief guide Walter and his assistance guide Rambo in June 2015 , We loved the Overall Experience And the Way Each day was Planned , Also the Whole Team of 18 people which Made it possible for us to reach upto the top , The Food was great And the Tents And equipments were Fresh and Clean

  I don’t write a lot of reviews but these guys truly earned it. I signed up solo to do the Lemosho trail up to the summit of Kili. I got paired up with two lovely Aussie girls and a team of amazing guys who all became my friends over the course of our week together. Got and Sunday were our guides and they did an incredible job leading us to the top. I was fortunate enough not to feel too bad from the high altitude so Sunday took me ahead at the quick pace I enjoy while Got hung back with the girls on summit day. They made sure we all made it to the top safely and constantly checked with us to make sure we were feeling okay. The entire week, Jerome made sure our meals were hot and ready, served nicely in our mess tent. Everything was so well organized from all the way up to on our way down. My luggage was even lost en route to Kili and the tour manager Frank facilitated its return to Moshi so it would be waiting for me when I got down. Because of him, I was able to hike to the summit worry free, and a life goal was ultimately achieved. If you’re looking for a more cozy, small group adventure, and not a crowd of 30 people slowly making their way to the top, book with Steppe Dogs Adventures for the ultimate experience!!!

  8 of us ladies went on the 8 days Mount Kilimanjaro climb via Lemosho route with guides Isaac and Arnold. Isaac’s team was INCREDIBLE! All of the porters, guides, and cooks were so accommodating, they went above and beyond what would be expected for service! Every morning and evening we were brought warm water to wash up with before breakfast and dinner. That is such a treat when camping, let alone climbing a giant, cold mountain! The team would sing songs to keep our spirits up, and even have dancing parties when we got to camp! They were very considerate when it came to our dietary restrictions, and provided us with more than enough delicious food every day! The summit night is very tough, leaving at midnight to summit at 6 am. It is cold, dark, and windy. Isaac brought 4 extra team members with us to make sure we had a successful summit. They continuously sang, gave us water, warmed our hands up with their hands, and even walked arm in arm with us when we were so tired that it was difficult to keep going! They were all so genuine and lovely, we felt as if they were friends or family rather than a company. Isaac is so knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging! He is a wonderful person, and Steppe Dogs Adventures is very lucky to have him as a leader! Steppe Dogs Adventures as a company was very easy to communicate with. They were timely when it came to responding to emails, and helpful with transportation from Nairobi, (which is a little difficult to figure out if you are in a different county). They took our feedback to heart, and even helped us with transportation days after our trek as well. Frank and Daines in the main office were available on their phones at all times when we needed them, and made us feel safe and appreciative about every aspect of our trip. Thank you Steppe Dogs Adventures, that was an experience of a life time and we will definitely be back!
