Listening to the local guides share their personal experiences during the Yugoslavian war in the 1990s helped me understand and appreciate the region and its people more. Balkan countries are very diverse, history rich and beautiful. Particularly I had such a great time on boat ride in Bled and I hope I will get opportunity to visit it one more time.
