This was a very personal small group tour. No big tour busses, so we went to places many tours could not get to. Amazing experiences with the people along the way. João, was a fun guide to be with and he looked after us very well. He knew the history of where we loved the time we spent with him. The itinerary didn't just spent time in the big cities that are easily accessible, we visited many smaller towns, parks, and sites as well. We enjoyed the wine, castles, fortified villages and such, but the cheese factory stood out thanks to the time the owner spent with us explaining the process and helping us drink wine and eat their cheese. The only thing I would have liked to see added would be the music of Portugal, such as a Fado show evening or other styles of music. Highly recommend this tour to people who want a personal experience with the people of Portugal, their land, food, wine, and life.

The booking with Sandro was smooth and the line of communication was excellent.our guide Joao Trindade was very knowledgeable about everything Portugal and led us on an unforgettable experience through Portugal. Joao went above and beyond what we expected to show us all that he could. We ate and drank our way from Lisboa to Braga. Perhaps a little less Bachalau and church's would make for a better overall tour. Braga seemed like a great city but we only spent a few hours there. Our lovely couple Bob and Sharon from England were fantastic to travel with and shared our enthusiasm for local wine and food. If you are looking for a tour off the beaten track then this is the tour for you FrankT

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 17th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 17th, 2025, a minimum payment of $230 is required to confirm your booking with 4youtours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and 4youtours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "4youtours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
