- EElissa· February 13th, 2024We were very impressed by the tour. Mohamed was an experienced driver who was punctual and reliable, as well as always making us feel safe and comfortable. The individual tour guides in the major capital cities were excellent, happily adjusting the tour to concentrate on our particular interests while still giving an overarching tour guide. There were some slight variations to the tour, such as the main mosque in Casablanca being closed to tourists that day so we were unable to see inside but DesertBrise then organised a Camel ride or quad bike ride to compensate which was unnecessary but very appreciated. The Riads exceeded my expectations and were excellent all round. Overall a very good and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend DesertBrise.Show moreTrip date: January 2024
- Lulu· May 30th, 2023My expectations for this trip and Megan were high, yet they were surpassed by both. Mohamed served as both our driver and our guide, frequently pausing to point out interesting sights along the road. It's hard to choose just one fantastic aspect of this vacation because there are so many. The mosque represents all of Casablanca's past. Fes, home to incredible artists. the grove of monkeys. the trip in a hot air balloon. dawn and sunset camel rides in the Sahara Desert. We stayed in some of the most magnificent riads, which elevated the entire Moroccan experience. We went on a hike in the Atlas Mountains, visited Marrakesh, and had dinner at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca, which Mohamed kindly made reservations for us at.Show moreDesertbrise Travel commented on this reviewDear lulu, We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us a 5-Star review! - DPDoris· May 21st, 2023The Desertbrise tour director Khalil in Morocco was very helpful with making accommodations for our group as requested before our recent May 4th trip began. He responded quickly to each and every question and request, including arranging for a tour of Tangier before the formal trip began. And the guide Mohammed, who accompanied us on the entire tour, was extremely gracious and helpful, even when members of the group managed to get themselves lost or late, and he generously assisted one traveler who had mobility issues. He was always quick with some retort about any given problem. There is no question that he helped make it a very enjoyable tour, including surprising us with reservations at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca. The individual guides in specific cities were always very knowledgeable, particularly about Moroccan history, which made the tour very informative, especially about women and Jews in Morocco. With the exception of one Riad, where some of the rooms were a little small, the accommodations were always comfortable as well as was the van in which we traveled. But I know Desertbrise struggled to find accommodations by the time the participating travelers finalized their reservations. Breakfast at the Riads was included as well as dinner, which was always at an interesting and good restaurant, and was a pleasant surprise since that is not spelled out in the tour description on tourradar. However, travelers should be aware the walking challenges are far greater than in a usual tour - lots of walking up and down on cobblestone roads, including lots of steps even in riads where we stayed. Two group members bought canes to help maneuver the challenges. I would highly recommend this tour as long as Desertbrise is the contractor in Morocco. And if you can get Mohammed as your guide, it will be enjoyable!Show moreDesertbrise Travel commented on this reviewDear Doris , We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us a 5-Star review!
