This was our first experience to Indochina and was on our bucket list to check off. It was an amazing trip and we learned a lot about their histories and wars. Found out about some things that were never told about the wars that really surprised us. There is so much history in Indochina. The tour guides and drivers were excellent and very pleasant to be around. They know their stuff. Food and accommodations excellent as well. The places we visited the people were so friendly and respectful. So much natural beauty in the places we visited and the people are so beautiful as well. The quality of the tours in Vietnam were very poor especially the food, was inedible. The cruise was also very disappointing. The food was cold and very poor quality. - ZPZsolt· February 22nd, 2024It’s an ok tour if you don’t have the time or inclination to do a bit of research and organise it for yourself, it would have been a lot more interesting and cheaper if we did but we chose the “lazy” way, won’t happen again! We booked it with a 50% off and still heavily overpriced for what it is! Could have spent half the money and see more and make our time in Indochina more interesting, now we have to return to see the good stuff! Some details: Angkor Wat in Siem Reap: very good Phnom Penh day: absolutely passable, although S21 prison is educational Saigon: overcrowded and dirty, passable Mekong delta: interesting day trip, educational War tunnels: educational Hanoi overcrowded and dirty, train street interesting but not in itinerary Halong Bay: disappointed how polluted it is and couldn’t spot any real effort for clean up or conservation.
