- FGFrançois· February 6th, 2025First, this trip was rich in discovery about history of Noth India last month, marvellous food and culture but I have a mix of feeling about the Taj Mahal tour with Rajasthan, first we want to thank our driver: Sandesh. He was very professional and basically save our trip with his suggestion how to handle a guide. Hotels, that were not to our expectation, most of the time (we were freezing at night in our room because no heating). The Forts, Palaces and Haveli were incredible to see, but we had good and not so good guide on the trip. I was verry careful about what I drink and eat but I was sick for a day after 2 weeks of travelling. We also wish we could visit the south part of India for a least a week and spend 2 days minimum per hotel before hitting the road again. This trip has too much distance to do per day: usually between 4 and 6 hours by car. We could have skip city like Mandawa, Mount Abu and Pushkar in order to visit Mumbai and the Elephanta Caves and surrounding area for a week. The communication between Holidays AT, (Golden Triangle India Tours), New Delhi, the guide and driver was not proper about what was planning to visit in our tour and we had to manage it on a day-to-day base.Show more
