- DIDavid· March 9th, 2025Overall a wonderful experience. The itinerary was very good and we saw a mixture of historical/cultural sites and great scenery. The highlight was touring in Yala National Park with close-up elephants, crocodiles and many colourful birds. The people were very friendly and the food fantastic. Our driver Amila was responsive to our needs, showed us interesting places not on or itinerary, very warm and welcoming. We felt safe with his driving. The weather was well behaved. The icing on the cake was our driver Sehan. He was a skilled driver, a polite, respectful and knowledgeable guide and someone in whose company we happily spent our holiday touring Sri Lanka. It doesn't get any better.Show more

The communication per messages was great, they made for me and my boyfriend a tailored trip which included everything what I wanted. They easily made the upgrade of hotels, prolonged the trip and included the places that were not in the itinerary. Last but not least we got the best guide, choffeur, friend in one person- Rouwan. He was smart, nice and friendly and explained j ust enough to know the highlighting information. Not boring, we had fun. There was a presidential election in Sri Lanka these days any we didn’t know so if I would plan a back journey from TRINCOMALEE to Colombo airport there will be any because public transport didn’t go this day. And I would have had no chance to know. As a family aged between 9 and 77, this 2-week tour was a great mix of something for everyone: challenging walks, archaeology, wildlife and beaches. The several early morning starts were rewarded with seeing sights at their best. Our guide ‘Chubby’ was extremely knowledgeable about Sri Lanka’s history and mythology, proud to share his country, and very attentive to our preferences. Always punctual and always positive. Yala Park for wildlife and glamping was our highlight, while the kids lost a bit of interest in the ancient ruins and temples after a while. We would recommend that travellers look closely at the hotel options when tailoring the tour to your preferences: we chose 4 stars and we’re glad not to have gone any lower; we would probably look for some more boutique experiences in future asa couple of the mass tourism hotels felt a bit tired and bland. The hotels were marvelous and the food excellent. We visited some exciting places such as Ella which had magnificent views, Kandy where we witnessed the Buddha's tooth ceremony, Galle where we saw the old Dutch fort, Yalu National Park where we saw exciting wild life and many other interesting places. However, I (w 27) did not feel uncomfortable at any moment. Priya was a super good tour guide who always inquired about my well-being and made sure I got the best out of the trip. Priya speaks very good German and English, has a lot to tell about flora and fauna and always had an answer to my questions. The trip was super organized and could be customized at will. For example, we visited a waterfall for a very small extra charge. In addition, Priya also introduced me to the local cuisine and thus ensured that I really get to know as many sides of Sri Lanka as possible. The hotels stands's clean and most different type (sometimes really classic hotel, sometimes bungalow in the countryside). All in all I can only recommend the trip.
