- TRTamra· October 25th, 2024All in all, this was a really good experience. The hotels were very nice and well located, (I upgraded to the 4 star option), the tour guides were very knowledgeable, and the sites visited were very interesting. Our group of 4 was combined with other groups for the tours, but our largest group was only 16. Most of our tours were a total of 8-10 people. The only hiccup was the transportation day from Halong Bay/Hanoi to Hoi An. We were told to leave our luggage at the hotel in Hanoi and take only an overnight bag to the boat on Halong Bay. Because of this, we had to go back to the hotel to get our luggage the next day instead of being able to go straight to the airport. Our flight was scheduled for 7pm to accommodate this. Had we gone straight to the airport, we could have booked an earlier flight. As it was, our flight was delayed for two hours, meaning we didn't get to our hotel until after 11pm. This was a pretty much wasted day, as all we did after a quick early morning excursion was ride, wait, ride, wait, and wait. I also wish there was a little more free time during the afternoon for personal exploration. Most of our tours ended between 4 and 5 pm, some even later, so there was not much daylight left after that. But again, overall, I was happy with the trip and would definitely use TourRadar to book in the future.Show more

The accommodations were good, vietnamese people are very welcoming. It would be perfect if the lunches were in higher restaurants (the ones we went to were corrects). I recommend this tour for everyone first time visiting Vietnam. We upgraded to 5 star accommodation and were very pleased with the hotels and boat trip. Halong Bay was a real highlight for us as it wasn’t too busy in the off season. We could have reduced Hoi An by a day as we aren’t shoppers though understand why it would appeal to most. This was a grp tour i booked with 6 of us ladies.. Out Tour guide Tuon in Hanoi was excellent. He made the trip enjoyable as he explained what the days agenda with kindness and he was great. Tuon went above and beyond in everthing he did.The Halong Bay overnight Cruise was fantastic. Enjoyed the hike in the Surprise Cave and the trek up to Ti Top Island In Da Nang & Saigon the tour & the shopping was great Food dishes was fresh and tasty no matter where you went Our tour guide in Da Nang was so kind and accomadating when we wanted to get clothes tailored she provided for our different needs. - KGKathleen· May 20th, 2024Amazing!! Travelling at 74 and doing my first solo trip overseas I was a little apprehensive but Legend Tour Group were absolutely fantastic. Everything was meticulously planned, from airport pick ups, hotel bookings, internal flights and our daily tours and any feelings of apprehension I had very quickly disappeared. Danny was our main contact if any problems arose and was very responsive to any communication. I lost a small piece of jewellery in Hoi An, which I did not discover was missing until I got to Ho Chi Minh City. Expecting it to be lost forever I decided to contact Danny anyway and he was able to locate the jewellery and had it mailed by express to my hotel in Ho Chi Minh City next day. So grateful and still can't believe it was found. Thanks again Danny. Some people did come in and out of this tour if they wanted to go and see something else and how Legend coordinated all this with everything still running on time is an absolute credit to them. It was interesting meeting different people along the way. We travelled in clean, comfortable, airconditioned buses with excellent drivers. The tour guides were also very good and knowledgeable with Alex from Ho Chi Minh City so much fun and he even sang a song to us. Go Alex! Sometimes there could be a problem to understand what a guide was telling us but it was easily overcome when you let them know this, they would stop and explain again until we understood properly. We need to remember we are in their country and English is not their first language so they do an amazing job. I did upgrade my hotels in Hanoi and Hoi An and am glad I did. In Ho Chi Minh City I stayed at the Elios hotel but did upgrade my room type. As the Elios hotel is in a very busy area it can be a bit noisy at night on the weekends, but on the plus side it is only a short walk to the markets ant there is a great beauty salon very close by that does amazing massages and facials. When I reflect back on this tour I can't believe how much I have seen and done in 10 days without ever feeling rushed at anytime. I really liked the the free time we had as well. Such an amazing tour and I highly recommend Legend Tour Group to anyone wanting to visit Vietnam.
