- Aria· March 21st, 2023I recently took the Best of France Tour and it did not disappoint ! The tour was 6-days, even though it could be considered as a short tour I felt like I saw a lot. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the guides were very knowledgeable, also very friendly and approachable. The meals were delicious, and even though France has a complicated subway system, Alex from Eskapas was very helpful to guide me. From the opulent Palace of Versailles to the quaint villages of Provence and the scenic French Riviera, every stop on the tour was a unique and enriching cultural experience. - Michael· December 3rd, 2022Outstanding week in Normandy and Bretagne regions.We have always wanted to visit D-Day beaches and nothing was like our day long trip to Normandy. France is beautiful country. Our 10 year old daughter enjoyed the tour as much as my wife and I did. Phillippe, our guide, could not have been more patient with us and kinder. He took extra time to show us little unknown places that were important. - MBMichael· November 4th, 2022Poorly organised, tour went to locations that were essentially closed. 'Lunch' one day was at a location where food is unavailable in the local restraunts until 12:15 which was the departure time. On the tour of the beaches of normandy only spent time at Omaha despite there being several canadians and brits on the tour, then while driving to peek at juno bus got stuck at the Juno parking lot. The worst part was that the hotel in paris we were booked at was a 30 minute taxi ride from the meeting point and at the end of the bus tour we were just left to figure out how to get there. - JBJanet· October 26th, 2022Tour itself was ok apart from Normandy beaches being hours at Omaha beach and cemetery and then Gold and Juno being pointed out from the road. 19 people and not one of us were American so not a lot of interest. Loire valley was hearing repeatedly about the number of mistresses that various kings had and 3 chateaux in one day was too much. Trekking across Paris at 6am not good and then in the other direction at 9pm with no taxis willing to go to Montmartre from the Eiffel Tower was no fun at all. Without the help of the concierge at Pullman Tour Eiffel we may still have been waiting. As it was we had to take an unlicensed taxi to get to our hotel. Full day Paris tour was also very disorganized although our guide was really good. Our bus was also clean and our driver was prompt, he was very cautious all the way. Ann Marie was a superb tour guide, she was very knowledgable in art and history, thanks to her our tour was even better.
