From the moment we first contacted them, to the booking of the tour, to the tour itself, we felt we were always well looked after. All our questions and requests were answered and managed in a very timely fashion. The chosen accommodation was exactly what was expected, and well planned out for location. Communication throughout our tour from the head office to check how our tour was going and if we needed anything was fantastic. Our driver was always ensuring that we were comfortable, was flexible with if we wanted to do something different should it be possible, and was always ensuring that we were well looked after.Show more

The only negative remark is that there was a delay in repairing a tyre that was obviously faulty and we had a blow out on the road. - Raewyne· June 14th, 2024An absolutely amazing tour would highly recommend. There was only 3 at the beginning of the tour then they left after 7 days so I had Ana for the rest of the tour by myself. What an amazing young lady she is. Was a great driver and went out of her way to make sure I never slipped on the pavers as I had not long had a knee replacement. A couple of the hotels were just OK, but in general, they were just up to our standards. I will say that having an electric car was somehow stressful as our guide could not always find a place to recharge the car at night. He had to go back several times and wait for hours. The scenery of mountains, lakes and coast was beautiful. We saw wonderful churches, mosques, monasteries, bazaars, castles, forts and walled cities. Our guide Sokol was great fun to be with. Before booking this trip, we had lots of questions, which were answered by Sirma from the CHOOSE BALKANS team promptly and with the information we had requested. As tourism is increasing in these countries, visiting at this point in time was magical. The use of local hotels was nice.
