WARNING - this tour itinerary is a SCAM. The tour was not as described. Most of the pictures used to advertise this tour are not places visited during the tour - there was nothing on day 1, we did not visit the La Fortuna waterfall or the Cloud Forest. The lack of communication between the tour operator Travel Talk and the local company was very poor, resulting in a lot of confusion and constant tension. Everyone in the group reached out to Travel Talk for assistance - they were non responsive. We ended up organising activities ourselves to make sure we didn’t miss out on key attractions like the hanging bridges. The itinerary involves a lot of driving which leaves limited time for activities. It would be better to visit less places and have more time to enjoy them. Tortugero is incredible - suggest booking directly with the resort who can arrange transport from San Jose: [Removed in Moderation] I would arrange other activities directly with Best of Costa Rica which has a great reputation for arranging fabulous trips but could not deliver the unrealistic itinerary promised: [Removed in Moderation] I will never book another tour with Travel Talk.

wonderful experience overall!! It would be helpful if the descriptions include the long driving times between destinations. Our guide Jonathan, was quite knowledgeable. Also very helpful in showing us wildlife and explaining environment and habits.

Great tour leader (Luc) and driver (Maurizio). Need better hotels in Monte Verde (Cipressa - subpar, too cold) and Manuel Antonio (So noisy that we had no sleep for a night).

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 12th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 12th, 2025, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Talk. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Travel Talk will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Travel Talk" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
