- Gay· September 19th, 2023Wish we could have spent more time in certain locations and less in others. And a few of the hotels were less than I expected.Trip date: September 2023
- BABerenice· June 26th, 2023It was very nice , my family enjoyedTrip date: June 2023
- EJElaine· May 11th, 2023We went to a lot of very historical areas. Also Louisa our tour guide went above and beyond. One negative is we paid for the Superior room upgrade and only had some hotels upgraded, not all of them.Trip date: April 2023
- Richard Ondieki· February 16th, 2023The experience overall was fabulous. We covered very exciting places (e.g. Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the extremely beautiful cathedral in Zaragoza, a number of amazing buildings and monuments in Madrid such as the bull ring, Colon square, the magical 2000 year plus viaduct in Segovia, the "great" wall in Avila, the "first astronaut" in Salamanca cathedral, the beautiful square where pilgrims terminate their great journeys in Santiago de Compostella, Combarro fishing village and the surprise dolphins encountered while on a boat tour, the beautiful cathedral on top of a hill in Vianna do Castello, the wonderful bridges along the Duoro river in Porto when doing a boat ride, the canals in Avelios, the must see great cathedral in Fatima, the many offerings that the oldest European city - Lisboa - has to offer and the mesmerizing Roman theatre and amphitheatre in Merida). All these in 11 days!! Very informative bilingual guides made the trip very enjoyable.Show moreTrip date: February 2023
- GMGilda· September 30th, 2022I had a wonderful experience with the tour and the group. The only complaint I had was two of the hotels were not up to par. It was in Park Gaia and agumar in Madrid.Trip date: September 2022
- D· September 23rd, 2022The tour overall is just ok, far below our expectations for the money paid for. - The worst part was the hotel's room & location, we paid extra for the Superior Hotel package but ended up as a 3 star hotel quality (even at the Novotel!!!) located far away form the city central, the rooms we had always at level one or two at very bad locations (same as everyone in the tour) sometimes with window facing the brick wall or the ugly asphalt roof with chimney, exhausr fsns!!!, we asked to change room & always got the same response from the hotels "sorry we're full". I think Click Tours made the lowest cost / cheapest room deal with the hotels to maximise their profit do not care about us their customers. - The Premium packag for 9 extra meals was not worth the money we paid for ($619pp), especially the Tapas dinner at Madrid, it tasted not good as it should be & was like a simple rationalised snack meal with 2 croquettes, 2 calamari rings, 1 spainish omelet, few slices of smoke meat & cheese, us & most of our fellow travellers ended up to dine somewhere else cause we still hungry, sorry for the details but I think it should be highlighted to aware future travellers. - Our tour directors & local tour guides most were average with couple of ladies local guides were excellentShow moreTrip date: September 2022
- Rutu· July 21st, 2022I think I may have been spoiled on my Cambodia Vietnam tour and expected a similar experience on the Spain and Portugal Tour. Perhaps what stood out was the poor quality of the tour guides to explain things in English. Both the guides in barcelona and Madrid were ineffective. They failed to give any information that was interesting or helpful. My driver from the airport was a better guide! The two guides in Santiago de Compostela and Salamanca were not only incredible guides, but well spoken, interesting and engaging. To those two women my hats off for the wonderful opportunity and learning experience we received from them! The second issue was that the choice of restaurants on the premium package which I soon began to realize was not worth the upgrade. i was better off skipping the meals and going to find my own. The one tapas dinner in Madrid was a horrible experience for the entire group and just left a bad memory for everyone. There are so many other places more deserving of your patronage to bring such a large group in. This was a total failure. Finally, the location of many of the hotels were so remote that getting in and out to see the sites or go somewhere was not easy. barcelona hotel was too far from anything worth . I know now that I would most likely not consider tour radar for a european tour and perhaps somewhere a bit more remote since its clear that your guides and tour companies in less travelled places do a better job and care more for the overall experience.Show moreTrip date: July 2022
- Sonia· July 18th, 2022excellent attention, very well organized tours, punctuality, comfortable buses, good hotels.Click Tours commented on this reviewHi Sonia, Thank you for your review, great to hear that you enjoyed. We hope to see you again on your next visit.Trip date: June 2022
- GRGregory· July 8th, 2022The reason I rated it so is because it wasn’t made clear to me that this trip is bilingual. Most of the trip I was the only English speaking traveler. The trip also was tailored from a few other trips so that some people left the group at some point and some joined. Maybe that made sense from commercial point of view especially in times of COVID. You need to fill a bus. But from the POV of traveler it doesn’t work since big part of a trip is to form a cohesive group and develop some relationships. It takes a few days to make people familiar and comfortable with each other. There were 3 legs on this trip and people change through it. Antonio was the guide on the longest leg and he did pay me a special attention as the only English speaker and that improved my experience tremendously. On the positive side the places we visited were awesome. I especially liked Salamanca, Santiago, and Porto. All the local guides were great.Show moreTrip date: June 2022
- Karen· June 14th, 2022This tour was not exactly what we expected but it turned out very well. It is not the kind of tour where the same guide and group go the whole way together. Instead people and guides join the group, leave and some return. The first day was not good - no communication of where to be or what time. We had a challenge being English only speakers. Some of the guides had limited ability to speak in English and would speak for a long time in Spanish and then say in English, “and there is the Church”. Things really straightened out in Madrid when we got our very organized, friendly and knowledgeable guide - Phil. He made the trip so wonderful. He is truly bilingual and very inclusive. In short, we had a great trip and learned a lot of new things. We are very grateful we had Phil as our guide!Show moreTrip date: May 2022
