I seldom give the top score. Below - who is the "tour Manager" I wanted to write about my experience after the tour when I tested positive for COVID I found Collete very weak and not up to the knowledge base they should have had. I have been promised reimbursement, submitted my expenses, have not heard more - 2+ weeks now. The daily Collette dealings while in quarantine were inadequate and uninformed. If the 7 of us had not banded together and talked to the other folks quarantined in the hotel we would have had an even rockier experience.

I thought the tour was very well planned out. Our tour guide Theo was very caring, attentive and very knowledgeable. The hotels were excellent and so was the restaurants. I wish we could of had more fish in our choice of food rather than just meat. Good jod!

One of the hotl properties we were at the nafplia palace was in terribel condition. It was not suitable to stay. The rooms reaked of mold and mildew. The toilet had leaking toilet water. There were bugs and spiderwebs along with insect feces on the floor. The balconies were dry rought and would shake when you but pressure against it. The elevator also had issue including the door opening while the elevator was moving. The hotel mamage was disrespectful and stated they did not care about the condition and did not offer us open rooms that were availabe in the property next door. One of my family members also got bed bugs from staying at the hotel and had to dispose of their clothing and a i did not feel safe or sanitary at this place

Overall the trips was wonderful. We visited many places I probably would never have seen had I traveled on my own. Our tour guide Theo was very knowledgeable and personable. The bus driver really knew how to handle that big bus on those narrow winding roads! My only issue came when we were booked to stay at the Castle hotel in Nafplia.. The hotel was not well kept. The lobby was hot and the furniture worn and dirty. Some of the rooms were not clean at all! Mold, dirty carpets and brown water coming out of the faucet. The manager of the hotel never apologized for the conditions of the place. We found reviews of this hotel that went back to 2018 - the sames problems we found existed then. So it appears Collette should have known about this place and never put us there.

Very well planned trip. Never too long on the bus, which is a necessary evil of this type of tour.

The trip was excellent EXCEPT for the 2 days spent for the tour of Meteora. Spending 2 full days on a bus doing NOTHING is a foolish waste of time when you could be actually touring.
