ambili· July 14th, 2024The tour was really good. They took us everywhere mentioned in the itinerary. Was on time. Driver Guruswamy initially was driving too fast to the point we were uncomfortable. And my stomach got upset because of that. But asked him whether he could slowdown a bit and he did. He took us to places not mentioned in the itinerary too , like musical fountain and cultural fusion dance in Kanyakumari. And Poovar island. On the first day of the trip I made the request if it was possible to visit Mahabalipuram because this was not on the travel itinerary. I also informed them that I have an interest in learning the history of Tamil Nadu. So they included museums aswell. They made the changes for me directly. The tour guide was well versed in Tamil. And has a good understanding of the English language. I had the privilege to converse with him in Tamil. He gave clear and nice instructions. Whenever I had a request let it be an extra stop or questions regarding the beautiful tempels or monuments. He was able to answer all the questions. The MTA team went out of their way to customize the itinerary in order for us to visit a few places not included. Our driver was a lovely young man and an excellent driver.
