It was a busy trip but an excellent way to see a variety of cities and other areas of South Korea and to take part in a variety of activities - some perhaps once in a lifetime - all wonderfully organised by our Local Insider Yong. As someone who is not particularly fit I was initially concerned about the amount of activity involved in the trip but I found this to be manageable and Yong. who went above and beyond to support our group and also to give us as authentic an experience of Korea as possible, was able to be flexible regarding the activities when necessary. We kept busy the entire time while also having some free time, had a lot of really great traditional Korean food at spots you would probably never find otherwise. And did a lot of activities! A lot of tours tend to be less focused on food/activity and more on museums/things to see. So it was nice to get one to keep me active! Our local tour guide Sam showed us a lot of cultural and historical sights with background information. - GWGaia· October 21st, 2023The Soulful South Korea Tour was excellent. The tour guide Sam was excellent. He always provided background and information at all the sites we visited. This tour hits 4 out of the five provinces in S. Korea. I feel like we got see the majority of the country. There was a fair amount of walking but that helped balance all the wonderful food we ate. There were only 15 guests on our tour and that was a nice amount. Most of the travelers were from various states in America and one couple from Germany. Getting to know all the other travels was also a fun part of the trip. It was hard to say goodbye at the end as we felt like a family. Highly recommend this tour if you have never been to S. If you are in at least average physical condition, you should ne able to enjoy the events. The tour events start the same day as the meeting, be prepared to take that first hike. From there you will see many historical and cultural sites in various cities around S. Korea. We had an AWESOME tour guide, Sam Kim. He was very informative regarding historical and cultural locations and events. It provides a good sample of the major cities and attractions around South Korea that you might not be able to see on your own. The logistics of moving from city to city and meals and hotels would be distracting. I know that I liked and appreciated how Culture Tour had that all figured out and it happened without a hiccup. I felt the itinerary as described on the website either met or exceeded my expectations in real life. All my communication with Culture Trip was quick and professional. I do wish they more clearly showed sale pricing on the website. At the time I booked this tour it was part of a sale, but you had to contact them to get the sale price as only the full price was displayed on screen.
