Simona was not only our tour director but also the driver of our bus which had a small trailer attached for our luggage. She is a resident of Iceland and her love of the culture and landscapes was very evident in all her presentations. Simon a was extremely knowledgeable and competent. Her concern for our safety at all times was very reassuring. IMHO, the hotel Klettur in Reykjavik could be replaced by another one in better repair and with a larger lobby for the huge groups constantly meeting in it to join tours. I would have preferred more detailed information for specifically.where to meet on the first morning and for handlers to get our bags to and from our hotel room doors.
