Angelique· March 4th, 2025Thinking about what would be my highlight, I would say I can't just pin one. I would start with the wonderful welcome from our group leader Stacia. I booked the Gili and Lombok tour only because she would be my leader again. I did the Bali tour with her one and a half years ago and she was again the best leader you could ever ask for. I love spending time with her. She is so helpful. She answers all our questions and is really quick to make changes in activities when some kind of trouble arises (f.e. some rain). She always keeps us entertained and always looks out for all of us. The Gili and Lombok tour was so special because I got to see her again. She made it possible for us to start the tour before it even started officialy by letting us participate in an ATV Quad Tour! Driving through the heavy rain and the flooded cave was something that I definitely will never forget. The atmosphere on Gili T and Gili Meno was so relaxed and beautiful. The turtles were so cute! And I bought the most beautiful pearl jewellery. At the snorkeling I had my own mermaid moment when 50 fishes were following me! I had the chance to try scuba diving! The pub crawl was so much fun. And we learned how to make nasi goreng *-* The untouched nature on Lombok was simply amazing. I got a refreshing bath at the waterfalls which I will never forget. Stacia made it possible for us to go paragliding!! That was sooooo magical - just dancing with the wind. All in all - it was an amazing tour from start to finish and I would totally do it again!! And my biggest thanks goes to the beautiful soul stacia. I already miss her company. I knew that I booked a tour in the rainy season so I expected to miss something. And even then Stacia gave us other recommendations to do or organised the missed activity on another day! We really got all we wished for :) Please tell me when Stacia also does the philippines tour - I will book it immediately then :)Show more

Even before the actual tour, it was amazing to ride a quad through an incredible landscape in the rain especially the cave that completely filled with water. During the tour itself, it was just incredible to explore the two islands, Gili T and Lombok, with my main focus on Lombok. The nature there, as well as the paragliding, was simply breathtaking and gave me a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Stacia, our group leader, was beyond excellent more than a 1+. She is such a kind, friendly, and fun person. She always has an answer to every question, gives amazing recommendations, and shares all the important tips you need. The planning and execution of the tour were always smooth, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the experience. Our guide Bapo also took over photo taking, so we could concentrate on the cool underwater sights. It was really awsome. The hotel in Lombok was also great. Though the busride there was a bit long. - LCLisa· August 26th, 2024Overall the tour was great! Zio was so helpful and a brilliant group leader. I was disappointed when I realised I would be the only new person joining a larger group that had already been together for 7 days so had established a dynamic. It was a much younger group than I expected and the majority of them were from the same country so at times it was a bit difficult to chat and get involved but after a day or 2 it was much easier and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Zio was very considerate and helped introduce me to everyone. There was a nice balance of free time and activities and the accommodation was great! The cooking class was a little disappointing as we didn't really get to cook or learn much about the dishes. The bus on Lombok could've had better air conditioning, it was very warm! I really enjoyed the trip, it was lovely to have everything organised and Zio was always on hand if anyone had any questions. Seeing the waterfalls on the day we got to Lombok made a lot of sense as it meant we got to spend less time on the bus and had an afternoon at the beach which was a lovely way to spend our last full day together.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
