- PKPatricia· April 11th, 2025Itinerary: 9/10, I feel like we got to see all the must-see tourist places, as well as some quieter less-known places. I loved how much free time is in this tour, with options given for exploring other local spots. So it's very customizable. I would also recommend purchasing the add-ons, which are extremely fun. The reason it's a 9 and not a 10 is because we were speed-walking, often with luggage, to make this packed schedule. Either it could be built slower or I should've been built faster. Guide: 10/10. Daan is a wonderful guide. He was punctual and prepared, and always handled setbacks with ease (which is why we booked a tour! So we wouldn't have to!) He has great knowledge about the stops as well as a variety of small fun facts. Mostly, Daan gets a 10/10 because it feels like you're just hanging out with another traveler, who happens to be well-organized and knowledgeable. We wish we could have stayed longer, i feel as though we had seen so much but never felt rushed or missed out on anything. Our guide Daan was a fantastic addition to this tour. We went in November, which was a lot colder than expected but I liked the fact it was a little quieter than normal. Beth gave us a lot of information about Japan throughout the tour. She was very helpful and quite literally gave me the jacket off her back when I was cold. The tour was so well paced, and I really enjoyed the fact you could miss certain events and choose to explore something you wanted to see in a city. This was my first tour with this company, but it definitely won't be my last, as long as the tour guide is as amazing as Beth! She was so patient with all my questions, and helped me when I got lost during free time, as well as showed us a great time! Very clear instructions and daily itinerary updates.
