They took us to off the beaten track restaurants where we ate the most delicious food. We shopped in exotic markets, and we got to meet the people and experience their culture! Show moreTrip date: March 2022 - VCVincent· December 15th, 2023Our tour was interrupted by COVID. We spent two days in Amman and were able to visit local sightseeings sites. The best part was at the Airport, was where the Odynovo rep was able to facilitate our entry, as officials there were delaying our entry. We were due to go Petra and then on to Egypt for the attractions there. The Odynovo rep drove us around to various travel agencies for us to find flights back to the USA, before travel restrictions were effected. Alas, my wife came down with COVID, as a result of our flight back. Thankfully, her case was not severe and she recovered. Currently, we are getting ready for a China tour in April-May with Odynovo (Reinself continues to be amazing in responding and reacting to our requests; he worked with us in 2020).Show moreTrip date: March 2020
- JRJacqueline· December 14th, 2023In January we went on a tour of Jordan organized by Odynovo tours - best travel decision of our life! From the moment we stepped off the plane and were greeted by a friendly gentlemen who took care of our visa and getting us to the hotel, we continued to have one great experience after another. We saw all the best bits of Jordan with our own private and most excellent driver (Wasim Alzreqat) for our visit. He was relaxed, efficient, knowledgeable and a super travel companion - it was like going to places with a friend. We spent 9 days touring Amman, Jerash, Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and then back to Amman. The entire experience was incredible - Jordan and it's people are wonderful. The whole country is a testament on how people of all faiths can get along. We felt very safe and were treated wonderfully, and the sights and food were incredible. We have travelled all over North & Central America, Europe, the Caribbean and I have felt safer here than many places I've been to in the USA, Mexico & Costa Rica. The highlight of the trip was Wadi Rum but Jerash and the Dead Sea are wonderful as well. Petra is a bit too touristy for so it's best to go early in the day to avoid the crowds - also if you're in shape it is worth taking the trail on top of the mountains to see everything from above. The weather in January 2019 was perfect (sunny with 20-21 Celsius every day) and the hotels, meals, sights, and people were really something every traveller should experience at least once in their life! All the hotels we stayed at were excellent, the food was amazing, and so much history! Spending the night in the Wadi Rum desert is not to be missed, and if you have the chance to ride a camel go for it. We also took a tour with a private driver into the desert and saw where Lawrence of Araibia hid in his cave, where the movie Mars was filmed, and had a little fire with fresh brewed tea while watching the sunset - too beautiful for words.
