Margaret· October 15th, 2021The tour itself was guided by a wonderful gentleman who was everything we wished for. The problems were with the company itself. We originally booked for a tour with Marriott points in 2020. Covid intervened and we took a voucher for a later date.Then in 2021 we rebooked using the voucher for the cancelled trip. The tour, as I said, as fine. But when our optional tour to Cinque Terre was cancelled due to weather, we were denied a cash refund for that side trip and given a voucher to be used within one year,( then two after I called.) Collette is a stickler for fine print. Be aware of how you book, and how you pay! Now we’re stuck with Collette holding our money, forcing us to travel with them again within 2 years in order not to lose the hundreds of dollars in the voucher.Show moreTrip date: October 2021- BSBarbara· May 25th, 2019The tour manager left people behind and moved to fast. We started looking out for each other to make sure we were all there. There were 44 of us and that is way too many people for one person to keep track of in busy crowded areas. The breakfasts at the hotel were adequate. Scrambled eggs were cold, the coffee instant. Having said that the tour guides were great and the hotel staff were fabulous.
