  Had trouble with all airport and train transfers...no one showed up to pick is up and we had to call and wait an hour each time. Wasted time and created extra stress as well as money for me calling international because I did not sign up for that plan on my phone. Did not stick with the itenerary which caused us to miss some things that we had planned that were very important to us. We also had no guidance at the train station. Many people in my group were upset that the Versailles day was flip flopped and they took us there in afternoon instad of morning as scheduled. By the time we got to Versailles at 330 they had stopped selling tickets for inside the palace so did not get to go inside. It was also 98F outside and too hot to be roaming around gardens for 4 hours with no ability to go inside. This change initenerary also cost me another taxi ride to my hotel which was 40 Euro because we no longer ended up in the city at the end of the day. The hotel was very far from city with no public transport or resteraunts around. I had asked about Louvre guided tours even pre tour as this was important to my daughter and was advertised as an optional. Only when we got to Paris we were told it is not possible that the Louvre would not offer Europamundo tickets. I had to find my own guided tour and got lost going to meeting point and missed the tour and money. I feel like this sort of guidance is why you book a guided tour and the Louvre is such a big attraction that they should have said before that it would not be offered. We ended up getting into Louvre on our own with no guided tour and lo and behold we saw 3 different Europamundo groups there so don't know why they could not offer to our group. I also booked an extra night in Paris. They had me change hotels for the last night and told me this last minute. I booked the extra night with EM just for the convenience of not having to change hotels. When we got to New hotel to check in the Air Conditioning was broken in over half of the units and they could not give us a room with AC. It was literally 105 F in Paris that day and we had no AC in our room. I had to move from a hotel with AC to one without. As far as the positive...our guides were nice and I feel wanted to be helpful. I think most of the decisions that made this experience bad were from corporate decisions. Some of the hotels were really nice and most of the breakfasts were nice. The city tours were nice. The drive from Lisbon to Madrid is a very long day. Like 12 hours in the van with not much to see. If I had to do again I might just fly to Madrid and then pick up tour.
