  Took the premium Iceland trip with intrepid and felt we were really ripped off. The premium trip was almost $3000 a person more than the Discover trip and only included one extra day. The hotels were not wonderful and the meals were only fair. There was no choices on the meals and they didn’t even include coffee or tea, they also did not include the transportation back to the airport at the end of the trip. Have traveled with six other companies and this was disgraceful.

  This was an amazing once in a lifetime trip. Truly fantastic. The small group size meant we got a lot of personalized attention, we got to see a lot of extra sites, and we stayed safe from Covid exposure. Our guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and fantastic to be around; just a great guy. I think everyone else on the tour was a repeat Intrepid/TourRadar customer. If you can, I’d book one day extra in Reykjavík at both the beginning and end of the tour.

  I only had two days of private bathroom out of whole time ( one shower didn’t drained, unable to finish shower)! Very low quality rooms! It was hostel room basically! Iceland itself is beautiful but accommodation was horrible, I have never have been treated like this low quality! I have been through Tourradar before. I will never go through this again! We are not a back packers group!!! We stayed hostel most of times! It is your job to get private bathrooms attached to rooms! All of us been horrified about accommodations! But let me make clear that Our guid Einor was professional and kind guid! He did best he could help us out! It’s the your company put us like dirty rooms!

  Incredible trip! Shame the itinerary is changing for 2020 as it’s cutting out my 2 favorite stays on the trip. Still..I’m not a tour person at all. I prefer off the beaten path, flexibility for unexpected adventures, etc. but Jónas provided all of this. He was the best!!!! As a avid single, female, I’ve realized done a lot of solo travel but there are many places I’d like to go that aren’t the best choice for a single, solo, female traveler. However, now that I’ve found f Intrepid Tours, the doors have opened and I am already looking at where to go next.

  This was my 8th Intrepid tour and I travel with Intrepid in order to travel with other like minded people and get more out of my trip. I simply would not see what I see with Intrepid if I toured on my own. Accommodation is always good and price is reasonable.
