- AAlexBell· March 28th, 2019We loved this tour. We felt like it gave a good mix of different things to see in Sri Lanka. Our tour guide Akhtar was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was constantly sharing his expertise and interesting facts with us. He was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. The tour was very 'On the Go' (up early and lots to do) but this was what we wanted. It was a great week full of interesting activities and tourist sights. My personal highlights would be walking up Sigiriya, the train ride through the mountains and the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The hotels were all comfortable with the best being the Jetwing Lake in Dambulla. The pool there was amazing, I only wish we had more time there as it was so beautiful and we arrived in the dark and left early morning so didn't get to fully enjoy the scenery.
