The homestay family was incredible, Maria Sol (our guide) was beyond exceptional and I felt relaxed for the first time in years while being pushed and challenged to do things like white water rafting and hiking up waterfalls. Freddy was good with everyone making sure all were comfortable and accommodated.The itinerary was full of activities that were moved around due to various factors. The transportation was local buses, trucks and some hired. The bus ride was comfortable but a long five hours. I would recommend having your own snacks before getting on the bus. The accommodation was basic but expected with lovely hammocks for down time. The only surprise was no hot water at all. The best part for me were the meals provided.
