This was a great tour. It was well organized. We were disappointed in our stay in Tortuguero though. We even upgraded our lodging to the boula lodge which was a more expensive hotel option. It was dirty, overpriced, and had horrible food. The staff was also not very helpful at all. It wasn’t worth the long transport to go there, and we were overjoyed that we only spent one day there. I’d highly recommend only doing one day in tortuguero and then go to San Jose. We stayed at la puesta del sol in Monteverde, and it was lovely and clean. Highly recommend adding on the bird watching and Don Juan coffee tour here. Also eat at Taco Taco! One of our favorites ever! Then la Regina hotel in la Fortuna was great too with great staff. Consider adding the morning hike for Arenal. Eat at pollo fortuneno. I can’t emphasize enough how bad our time at the lodging at la baula was in tortuguero!! It’s the only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars! Consider adding on some time in guanacaste if you’re doing a longer trip. Overall we felt like this was an adequate amount of time spent to see a lot of Costa Rica.

Overall, a very reasonably priced "tour" to hit some of the highlights of Costa Rica. All the transportation and bookings were on time and as described. The accommodations were VERY basic in a couple of the locations (essentially just a bed and bathroom, non-working TVs, lawn-chairs for indoor seating, soap on the wall, etc.), which would have been fine, but in Monteverde and La Fortuna, they were also a bit of a hike to the main part of town. Would have been nice to at least have location if you are trading off on comfort. If you are looking for a cheap way to see a fair amount of Costa Rica without having to plan the logistics on your own and don't mind basic accommodations, this would be a good option.

This is the first time I travel alone and purchasing this package made it that much easier for me to enjoy my time and not worry. I do wish there was a way to have an option to upgrade hotels if you wanted to or add on tours right from the website since I did have a few time slots available but nonetheless this was great for the price and II enjoyed every single day.

For a budget tour, everything went really well. We especially loved the activities, and appreciated the way we never had to worry about our transfer transportation. The vans were always there on time, and it took a huge load off our minds never having to worry how we're going to get to the next place. I wish the places we stayed at were a bit nicer, but they were always clean at least and again- we did do a budget tour. We can't expect 4 stars. All in all, we had an amazing time in Costa Rica and we're so glad we did this tour.
