He had insightful input to questions and potential issues likely of common concern. He was always open to questions and graciously repeated information. Each day had a thoughtful mix of educational, informal and personal info along with quiet moments that made the day quite enjoyable. Our tour had a happy mix of the cloud forest, jungle, and volcanic terrain and a dash of tourist/souvenir exposure that was just right for my expectations of flora and fauna exposure. Having done more than a dozen GLOBUS tours in the past, we can honestly say that this was one of the best. Our superb tour guide: Jorge Avila was a top flite naturalist and made this an outstanding eco-tour of his beloved country. He was always available to answer questions from all of all our tour members. We also truly felt that warmth of the friendly people of Costa Rica.
