- MFMartin· February 16th, 2024Our group trip around India was a tour full of wonderment, enlightenment and excitement. In the first two weeks we had to cope with an unexpected drop in temperature in North India followed by a heat wave in the South for the remainder of our holiday. Not for one moment did these events spoil our trip. In no short measure this was due to the input from our guides. Shailendra, our guide for North India, was organised, empathetic, relaxed, fun and amazingly knowledgeable about all things India (and issues worldwide). His counter part, Selva, in South India was also well organised, approachable, and highly amusing in explaining some of the ecentricities of life in India. The country can be challenging to explore, particularly in respect of poverty and children begging. In this respect I wish to applaud G Adventures for their efforts to support charities and local industries. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour for the insights it provides into the good nature of the people, culture and history of a wonderful country.Show more
