Our guide was super! Helpful and pleasant he was a source of knowledge and looked after us.Hotels were generally okay to good. The activities were interesting but perhaps have some extra pay extra such as a cooking class. Maybe explain beforehand about the luggage packing for the night and next day. Stops in Osaka, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Koyasan, Kyoto, Hakone, and Tokyo were all fascinating for their history, food, and sites. Our G-Adventure guide was top notch and really made the trip. A number of things make the cost of the tour that I paid for ridiculously expensive and I feel you have taken advantage of me. They are the following: 1) I booked with TourRadar and you put me on G adventures without letting me Know how physically challenging it would be especially handing my bag and knapsack on public transport. 2) 7!cities in 9 days is actually untrue as there was no tour of Osaka. 3) check in times were inconsistent and never to our benefit. On Hakone we could Only check-in at 5:30pm and we departed the next morning at 8:30. I have paid a lot for this trip and been treated like a budget traveller. 3) how do you expect a local travel guide to help me with my bags though Keiko did a great job helping but I was fortunate that one of the group members helped me with my main luggage. What would have happened to me if he didn’t? For these reasons stated above, I feel cheated and comparing prices with the others from the US and UK who were on the same trip, I paid the most. However, our tour guide spoke very poor English and did not have the knowledge to explain to us the backround/history of most of the sites we saw in each city. My friend and I were extremely let down especially since we were looking forward to this trip and expecting a solid tour guide. It got so bad that one of the people on our tour had to google the history on each site and explained it to us all. We even spoke to the tour guide of a different tour company on our tour to get better info. There are better tour companies out there.
