- CSCsilla· March 10th, 2025Amazing 15 day of "Highlights of Morocco' Tour, and it certainly showed that from start to finish. Our guide Mohamed (Moh) shared his knowledge on Moroccan history/culture, been professional and assuring our trip to have the best experience. The friendly local guides also been informative especially in Fes. It was enjoyable to see all the places this tour had to offer from bustling cities - visiting Medinas, and they varied each places eg. Tangier; to quite place in The Atlas Mountains; the uniqueness of Chefchaouen, short hike for a 360 view and delicious three course Moroccan cuisine hosted by a local; the Sand Dunes Merzouga, camel ride and amazing sunset and sunrise, visiting nomad, listening to the local band by campfire, fortress setting accomodation; and relax and splash at Essaouria beach, and fresh seafood platers for lunch or dinner; and many more moments and places I could list on this tour and sampling flavoursome Moroccan cuisines. To mention, the group on this tour got on so well, shared a few laughs, showed off our dancing moves, enjoyed dinning out and lunches, the activities we participated the hikes the horse riding the fwd, it has been enjoyable experience, and we did mention we will stay in contact. There was also free time for me-time. Thank you for a great tour and taste of Morocco!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Csilla! This sounds like a wonderful trip to Morocco and we are delighted to know you enjoyed your time with Moh. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the near future!Trip date: February 2025
- Ss· January 9th, 2025i'd say 90-95% of the country you see in these 2 weeks. i liked it very much. the people were kind. all this 'customer harassing' didnt happen and i didnt even see it. Good country- good people. But the bus had too small seats and some of the hotels were not so good.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your honest review! Morocco is a very special destination and we are glad you enjoyed yourself. We will pass your concerns relating to the hotels and bus to the appropriate team for their review.Trip date: December 2024

- TNThanh Huong· January 5th, 2025Overall experience was good. Morocco is a beautiful country. Temperature was an issue in the bus from day 1, the heat did not work and it was cold until the sun came out at noon to heat the bus up. The 4x4 was an SUV and we didn’t go over any dunes. The gite should have been skipped during cold season because there was no heat in the rooms except for 1 gas flume patio heater which they used indoor and it had to be turned off when we were sleeping. It was so cold, none of us got out of our clothes to sleep. All the factories and the G adventures communities that were we taken to sold items that were more expensive than other places yet they were the same quality. Hotels could have been better, but for the price of the tour, I guess we can’t expect much. At some hotels, the staff was combative when asking for extra towels and 2nd room key when there are 2 people staying in the room. At some of the hotels, the breakfast was lacking. Soap was an issue. Some people didn’t have heat in a few places. The driver was always on time, we never had to wait for him. He was polite and always had a smile. The CEO was fine. I felt she could have given more information of places as we pass along the way during the drive. When asked, she would provide us the information. A few times, she said she was going to do something but it was never done. She got us to places on time, though dinners were scheduled too late especially when we have been up since 6am each day. Lunches were scheduled late during 2nd half of the trip, sometimes 8 hours since we had eaten last during breakfast. Prior to the trip, we had asked for estimated time of arrival at each stop and activities during free time. G Adventure would not tell us so we planned some of our own events during the free time. I do not know if the guide expected us to do things together as a group the entire time, I don’t think she was happy when we didn’t join the group. Some of the local guides talked too much about themselves and making us standing there listening to the stories instead of seeing the sites or talking about the sites. In spite of all the complaints, overall everything went smoothly without any major issues and we got to see what was stated in the brochure.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your honest feedback, Thanh. - Angela· May 9th, 2024It is hard to give an overall rating that truly reflects the entire tour as there were so many positives about the experience, as well as a lot of misses. The stay in the Atlas Mountains could have easily been shortened to a day trip - the hike up to the village was completely understood and the description in the itinerary did not reflect the actual experience. It would have been nice if the itinerary included Rabat, the capital city, and an overnight in Tangier (beautiful). One of the 'must do' things in Tangier is to see/experience where the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet - and it was not included in our trip!! The hotels were a miss - there were so many issues experienced by all. Some examples included the hotel door key breaking and having to have a hotel staff let us in each time we wanted access to our room, unpleasant smells, no hot water, no bed linens in another, location of some hotels were remote to major attractions, etc..... The brochure provided needs to be updated and was misleading/inaccurate. There were many items that we were asked to bring that we did not use (towels, locks, headlamp). As well, some of the excursions were misleading - a 4x4 adventure in the sand dunes ended up being driven in the Sahara in a SUV. There were 4 of us in each vehicle, so the person in the middle back seat missed out having a good view of everything. Everyone thought we were going to be driving 4x4s...... Some of the stops/excursions for shopping were money grabs, where we ended up paying significantly more for the same product that was widely available in the medinas. Positives - Morocco is absolutely beautiful and the cities we did see were so different from each other! Our driver was fantastic! Hard stop! Our guide was great, but this was here first time guiding this trip with G Adventures, so the knowledge that comes with experience was lacking.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks Anna for your review and for your honest feedback. This is very useful and we have passed it on to our operations and product teams for review.Trip date: April 2024
