- Mackenzie· January 24th, 2022The tour was very organized, and you stopped at so many beautiful places. I think everything after Istanbul is well worth it; the reason I say this is that I feel you can manage yourself within Istanbul, it's pretty easy to navigate, and there are a lot of information boards that can act as your guide (or look it up). Just be aware that some of the sites you go to don't get a lot of "free time" to explore on your own. I thought Cappadocia was well worth it; in winter, it offers its charm. I do not recommend purchasing the balloon price on Tour Radar, as it is significantly overpriced. I met many people who paid less for the ball on ride. But otherwise, it was a good first experience travelling around Turkey. I was a slow traveler, but I met many people who tagged along, and I am still in contact with them.Show moreTrip date: January 2022
