  Exceptional trip from start to finish. The gear list and pre-travel coordination was excellent, very helpful in setting expectations and making sure we had everything we needed to get going. On the trip itself our guide Alex was personable, enthusiastic & knowledgeable, always ready to teach us something about the region in specific or the country in general as well as offer advice related to the hike. The guest house accommodations were charming, with amazing food and comfortable rooms. The hiking was challenging but approachable broken up into achievable daily segments with clearly communicated levels of effort required. The views of the countryside were breathtaking throughout with the section traversing Vikos Gorge & the section from the Astraka Mountain Hut to the Dragon Lake being absolute highlights. I cannot stop showing off my pictures & bragging about going to a place before any of my friends. I would 100% consider using Trails Beyond for further trips or even re-doing this tour it was that good!

  It was excellent. I have taken several guided trip to "Europe". The guide was the best. Very knowledgeable, Courteous. professional and a joy to be around with.

  We were a small group and had a brilliant guide, who took very good care of us. The hotels were charming and the mountain hut an experience - there the lack of ventilation in a small room full of people was disturbing. When choosing a car given to our group they had not realised that we all had big suitcases plus other bags, so it was difficult to get all in, but our guide was a master organizing it . Altogether amazing experience, thanks again to our guide Spiridoula!

  This was my first ever hiking trip/guided tour like this, and I could not have asked for a better week. Honestly I consider this trip through Zagori and Meteora to be the best week of my life! Our guide Aris was amazing, and I learned so much from him about the history and geography of northern Greece. I would recommend this trip to anybody who wants to experience a part of Greece that not many people see. Zagori is a very special place and I would love to come back someday :)

  Its was perfect! What made this experience so great was our tourguide - Dimitris. He had lots of stories from all the places we went and hiked. He recommended the best places to eat and have a hot drink or pie. Dimitris alone made our trip a 10/10 alone :D The landscapes and the hike was excellent aswell, easy to low-intermediate difficulty. Anybody could make them :) Great views and nature wonders :) I recommend all who're reading this review :) You won't regret it. Ask for Dimitris as a tourguide. You Won't be dissapointed :)

  It was exceptional trip, from the comfort of the bus, to the hotels and Bed and breakfast places, to our tour guides. Stephany was a beautiful, kind patient guide. The tour was everything I expected and more.

  This was such a wonderful trip! I can't say enough positive things abour Danae, our leader. Her enthusiasm for the land, her connection to the people, her flexiblity and her fun...she made this trip so special. There was a lot of variety in the hiking, the food was amazing and fresh, and it was a great group of six people so the size was right. If you want to get away from the touristy crowds and see the mountains of Greece this was the way to do it. Danae also worked with a few of us in adding extra days, making suggestions for other areas and generally being a good resource.
