The experience with Artic Adventures was very good, the hotel was very comfortable, and the breakfast was very complete. The only thing that could be improved is the glacier tour, they take us to the Atlas glacier, the ice cave is very small. They say they take you to one or the other depending on the season, but I think they take us all to the same one. Anyway, the scenery is incredible, it is recommended anyway. Greetings

A very informative trip, with a knowledgeable tour guide who covered a broad range of topics. However appropriate guidance on the level of difficulty at some spots such as the ice cave was not offered. Hiking sticks should be part of the offering or guidance. There are many of us who have to go back to very busy lives after our vacations with responsibilities towards elderly and children. I had a fall during the ice cave walk and am still recovering, despite having to work every day since I returned! Not nice

The tour was great and the guide, Sindri, was exeptional. He told us many historic, geological and scientific stuff, and also Icelandic legends during the driving time, making the driving time more enjoyable. He is a very patient and funny guy, who couldn’t wait for the perfect time to make a joke for us!!The first day was a little bit rushed, especially compared to the third one, but we were able to see all the highlights. The glacier hike and ice cave experience was amazing, thanks to Jergus, who changed the plan for our group in order to have more time and enjoy it as much as possible! I couldn’t have asked for better guides for these 3 days. Thank you so much

What an amazing trip. This experience is really for everyone. As a solo traveller I was a little nervous, but there were other solo travellers as well as couples and groups and we all bonded in such a short time. The places we went to were amazing. Our guide/driver Sindri was truly awesome, he covered so much information and really kept us entertained throughout. Day 1 we covered many amazing sites throughout the day with plenty of cool picture opportunities. Later we went to the hotel which was very clean. After dinner, we were able to see the northern lights from behind our hotel. And our guide took the BEST pictures for us with his professional camera. Day 2 was my favorite we saw a really cool site. Then we went to the glacier hike which was amazing for everyone even people who have never hiked a day in their life. That night we saw the northern lights extremely well. Day 3, we saw a few more stops and concluded a really amazing trip. Highly recommend. However, be aware that there are many different sites to book on so there was confusion with people who booked different length trips. So if you book a 4-day trip, it is actually an extension of this trip and you will be picked up by a different guide.

The majority of the tour was excellent but have to give it a poor rating because of the ice caves. Crystal Ice cave was advertised on the package and we were taken to 3 much smaller ice caves instead. When I contacted the tour operators they insisted that we did visit it. However it was obvious we did not. I compared photos with another fellow traveler who had been to the crystal ice cave a few days before me with a different tour and the photos were remarkably different. I feel very ripped off especially given it was a bucket list item and I travelled all the way from Australia to do it. Will definitely go back to Iceland but definitely not with Arctic adventures. the price was also incredibly expensive when I compared it to other similar tours that went to the same places. Not worth the money especially when you don’t get what is advertised.

Really enjoyed the tour along with my son, aged 14. The highlight for both of us was definitely the ice caves. Amazing to look into the past through the layers of ice. The caves are water-formed and stunning. A close second are the waterfalls and the incredible lava field. Our guide, Hjalti Bjorn conveyed his passion for Iceland, its beauty, history, culture and geology. Another treat was stopping for a road-side herd of Icelandic horses. Hjalti shares the national passion for these horses and what makes them special. A memorable trip!
