The part I really didn’t enjoy was when they “toured” me through a bunch of different stores where they didn’t teach me anything about the craftsmanship or how the product related to the history of Vietnam and got annoyed when I wouldn’t buy anything. I didn’t make many friends because all the people on the activities were solo travellers who weren’t booked by my company. This would only be good if you’re into buying lots of stuff and if you bring someone along so you are entertained/feel safe.Show more

The tours were good, different groups each day, not one big group all the time. Lots of Pagodas...and temples...and caves. Communication and organisation both before and during the trip was excellent and everything ran like clockwork. Hotels, transport, airport transfers and guides were all good. Even met Operations Manager Mr Danny in Hanoi who was most helpful throughout our holiday. Another issue that too much time spent in “Tourist stores” with prices three times more than in regular stores. Every day we had different travel guide and different travelers. Huge thanks to Mr.Danny who were always making himself available anytime before and during the trip, making sure everything was oke. It was super organised, still we have our own free time. We really enjoyed our trip. All the accomodation were great, especially the halong bay cruise. Free of stress of booking hotel, internal flights, picking and dropping of airports. The tour was not a group tour in a sense that we travelled the whole trip with same people which we like very much. We had the chance to meet many people around the world during our trip. In some occasion, we even had a private tour or a tour with 4-5 people. All the local tour guides in each city we visited are great. They have so much knowledge which we learned about Vietnamese people and cultures a lot.
