- Kelly· March 14th, 2023I recently went on the Fantastic Vietnam plus Phu Quoc Island - 20 Days with Legend Travel Group, and while there were some enjoyable moments, there were also some aspects of the trip that could have been better. Firstly, the itinerary was quite extensive, with a lot of traveling involved. While this did provide an opportunity to see many different parts of Vietnam, it also meant that we spent a lot of time on buses and planes, which could be tiring. That being said, the destinations themselves were generally very interesting and enjoyable. Some of the highlights included Hanoi, with its bustling streets and delicious street food; the stunning natural beauty of Halong Bay; and the historic town of Hoi An, with its charming lantern-lit streets. The accommodations were generally comfortable and well-appointed, although there were a few instances where the rooms were a bit smaller than expected. The restaurants and food on the tour were generally good, with a mix of local and international cuisine. One disappointment was the visit to Phu Quoc Island, which was advertised as a highlight of the trip. While the island did have some beautiful beaches, there was not much to do beyond lounging on the sand, and the infrastructure was not as developed as we had expected. Overall, while there were some enjoyable moments on the Fantastic Vietnam plus Phu Quoc Island - 20 Days with Legend Travel Group, there were also some aspects of the trip that could have been improved.
