- DDeniseRestivo· October 11th, 2022We were a group of 10 friends and had an amazing trip . At the end of it all we seniors were pretty tired and excited to share our wealth of knowledge gained by our superior guide Abdellatif . Our drives through the Atlas Mountains were driven with expertise by Suliaman . A few of us succumbed to some stomach issues and Abdel made sure we had bananas and rice at our lunch stops . ?I would definitely travel with on the go Tours againShow moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for the wonderful feedback!Trip date: September 2022
- WWilJimi· December 20th, 2019I had a very pleasant holiday in Morocco. Morocco is an amazing and beautiful country. Thanks to our guide, Mr Jamal who is funny, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and reliable for making this trip the unforgettable vacation ever. At one time I left my passport at one of the hotel in Marrakesh but he managed to get it back and gave me the next day. I really thankful for that. Not forgetting our smart and friendly driver Mr Hosain. All in all, I was satisfied with all the services. Highly recommended tour!Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for taking the time to post such wonderful feedback!Trip date: November 2019
- VVeronicaS· December 20th, 2019An unforgettable 13 days tour of the best of Morocco with our tour guide Jamal. During our tour, Jamal was always happy, smiling, helpful and keen on sharing Moroccan culture with us. He's very resourceful. We also had a fresh bottle of water everyday and he made us try some good food too. The overall trip was enjoyable and we had really a good time, happy with the service rendered by Jamal and we were beyond happy that we chosed OTG as our tour operator.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for the positive review!Trip date: December 2019
- Debby· December 16th, 2019I wasn't sure what to expect as I choosed Morocco to be my next annual year-end trip. I browsed online looking for deals that would suit my timing and budget. I found On the Go Tours and I like what it offered. I went through the reviews and took a leap of faith. This was my first trip with On the Go Tours and after this trip, it will surely won't be the last. I booked my trip with On the Go Brisbane office through Ashley. He was very professional, detailed and helpful. He responded to my enquiries promptly and made sure my booking and payment went on smoothly. The trip notes sent were very helpful especially in terms of how much money to bring and suitable clothing. I was travelling with three of my other friends and we arrived in Marrakech a day early. We made our own arrangement. The second day, we met the guide Jamal. I spotted him by the cap he was wearing. We had four other people joining the tour. It was small cozy group. I loved the fact that we got along very well. We were like family with Jamal the guide and Hosain our driver. On our first meet, Jamal laid out the map of Morocco and explained how the 13 days trip was going to be. Jamal was very professional and attentive to our needs. Although we had local guide in different cities, he was always there watching us and taking good care of us, very protective. He is very knowledgeable on the history and culture of Morocco. He patiently answered all our questions and adding extra informations from time to time during our road trips. Being from a tropical country which is hot and humid all year long, my friends and I were extremely excited to witness the first snow at Atlas Mountain. Jamal was dear enough to make a stop so we could touch and take photos with the snow. We were ecstatic. He was observant and sensitive to our needs. He brought us to sample local delicacies, helped us to haggle with the shoppers and even walked us to dinner even when he doesn't has too. He went extra miles to make my friends and I (and the rest of the group) enjoy our trip to the fullest. Never a dull moment. We also loved the picnics he prepared with Hosain. It was really like a big family having an outing. Jamal made short stops even when he doesn't has too (since it is not in the itinerary) to accomodate us. He said no rush, you are in holiday and we all laughed. He is very good in what he does, very enthusiactic, jovial and dedicated. We all agreed it was quite dull when Jamal didn't join us in Essaouira. He was the heart to our small group. Hosain the driver doesn't speak much but quick to smile and was very helpful. He was an excellent driver. The van was very comfortable and clean. True to its name, we got to see the best of Morocco in 13 days. There were the hustle bustle of the medina and souks, there were the beautiful landscapes from the plain of haouz, Ben Haddou, Atlas Mountain, olive and argan plantation to the Sahara Desert and Essaouira beach. Sampling couscous, tagine, pastries and mint tea to wearing the djellaba. We experienced different cities with different landscapes, different weathers and different accomodations (posh hotel to riads to berber camp in the dessert). We got it all, lush green plantations, sandy desert, snowy mountain, yellowish autumn trees, windy beach and truly amazing landscapes. The local guides were also very informative, especially Mostafa our local guide in Marrakech. We loved him. All in all, EXCELLENT!. Thank you to On the Go tours and especially to our guide Jamal who have made the whole trip one of my most memorable ever. Merci. Now, when people ask "why Morocco?", I'll say "why not Morocco?"Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you for the fantastic review!Trip date: December 2019
- Lorraine· December 9th, 2019Having just completed The Best of Morocco, I wish to express my thanks to our guide Hicham for the caring and compassion he showed me while I was unwell on tour, it helped me tremendously in enjoying the tour. Hicham made the trip so interesting with his incredible knowledge of the culture, country, cuisine infact everything that related to Morocco - Morocco is such a diverse country, colourful, exotic, a country with cross cultural influences to make it the interesting country it is. Thank you Hicham for been the wonderful guide, who went out of your way to make sure we all were comfortable and helped out when situations arose. You are such an asset to the company. Because of you I will consider going on another On the Go Tour.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThankyou very much for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent trip with On The Go Tours. - JJoseph· November 6th, 2019This is a popular itinerary for many tours as well as independent travelers & a great way to see much of Morocco. Hicham was great in ensuring that we were ahead of the crowds (you'll quickly get acquainted with "Yallah! Yallah!") without ever making the group feel like cattle being herded. Accommodations & transport were very good. My group was 9, so we had a van, although we saw many other groups on 42-passenger buses which would have been an altogether different experience. I do wish that On The Go travel included more evening dinners on the tour. The final 3 days of rest & relaxation on the Atlantic in Essaouira were ideal for decompressing from seeing so much in a limited amount of days. The desert camp & camel riding experience is a highlight of this trip. Fes is magical & I wish we could have spent a bit more time here. Initially, Marrakech is an assault on the senses, but after traveling throughout Morocco, it has a quintessentially Moroccan appeal & is quite an interesting. city. Hicham is experienced in making the experience unique & extra-special. He is intelligent, funny & showed genuine interest in getting to know everyone in my group. His explanation of Amazigh (Berber) culture was outstanding, as was learning about the North African Arab culture. I went to Morocco to glean a sampling of Moroccan culture, cuisine & history and left with a friend in Hicham. I highly recommend him as a tour guide!Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThankyou very much for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent trip with On The Go Tours.
