We were traveling all through the UK and this was hands down the highlight of our trip. It was the first time we have done an organized multi-day tour and I was a bit nervous but everything about this tour was amazing. The bus was very comfortable. The hotel accommodations very nice. Scotland is amazing and beautiful. Big thank you to our tour guide who shared is love for this wonderful country. He guide style the perfect combination of history, trivia and humor. While staying in Portree the was a problem with eating dinner in a restaurant. There were more tourists than seats in the local restaurants. - KPKagen· June 29th, 2024If it weren't for our tour guide Keith, this trip would have received a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, Keith's negativity, poor attitude, rudeness, and obvious disdain for tourists made the experience thoroughly unpleasant. While I understand that dealing with tourists can be challenging, especially for someone whose job is to provide enjoyable experiences, Keith openly expressed his dislike for us. He shamed people for asking questions and was consistently rude to the majority of the group. Instead of enjoying the majestic Isle of Skye, the trip became a test of endurance, exacerbated by the fact that Keith was nearly 45 minutes late starting the tour. To be fair, Keith was knowledgeable and provided interesting insights during the distillery tour and when discussing Scotland's linguistic history. However, his commentary extended unnecessarily into personal matters, including details about his marriage and family dynamics, which left us uncomfortable. After spending three days with him, it became clear why his family might prefer him away on tours.Show more
