Great tour. We saw everything from waterfalls to the Amazon basin to the highest point on earth. The tour is flexible with some free time so you can do class 4 white water rafting or a day at the spa. Everything was very well organized and went very smoothly thanks to our excellent tour guide, Raphael Arevalo. He was extremely knowledgeable about history, nature and culture. He answered all questions some before you knew to ask. The hotel accommodations were almost all higher class. The Hacienda Anadalusia was one stand out. It was the nicest room I have ever had. The property is beautiful with gardens, llamas and rabbits you can feed. I highly recomend this trip.

My 8-days trip to Ecuador was unexpectedly and uniquely enjoyable, some of which was a Cotopaxi volcano hike, swimming in a lagoon under a waterfall, visiting a Vayuri Indian community, and a canoe ride. Unexpected was having a chocolate tasting session at a Swissotel in Quito and finding an art store near Quilotoa Lagoon where I bought two beautiful paintings by a local artist. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful in managing excursions and paying attention to my dietary needs while helping to order food in restaurants. What I would have changed is having cars' windows closed with air conditioning on because of the bad air quality while on the road. Overall, I am happy that I chose to go on this particular trip.
- by Gennady BlanketThis was excellent, a packed schedule seeing all the sites, a mix of small group and personal tours, all transfers very punctual. Jeferson kept in constant communication to advise and get feedback. He replies instantly, in addition, he added an extra day with a quote and can reflect your wishes in the itinerary if you wish to add other options. Yellow House and other accommodation were in the center of the action with bars and dining on the doorstep, filtered water wax available and breakfast

Elmer was such a great guide and a really lovely person. His clear investment in our group and his care for his country and wanting to show us the best of it was such a gift. Thank you!

All the amazing volcanoes, the inca sites, Cuenca
- by PreetyFor me the highlights were the walks we were able to take at high altitude, plus the time spent in the jungle.

My man and I stayed in the highlands of Ecuador for two weeks. It was an amazing adventure and the route and hotels that Linda chose for us, was excellent. We saw so many amazing things and all the hotels were comfortable, with good breakfasts and very near to all the important sites and historical areas that we wanted to experience. For my first time visiting Ecuador, I couldn’t have had a better time. All the details were taken care of and I highly recommend Linda from Authentic Ecuador! ❤️
- by Anneliese BayerHi! I'm planning my 3rd trip as I type this and I'm not exactly what tours I've been on but to be honest, i don't think there's a bad one. I've been from the Amazon to the coast to the clouds to the south and then alot of in between some and it was Linda from Authentic Ecuador that set them up for me and my friends with beautiful hotels, day trips, and the guide Sebastian. The first was in January 2022 then in January 2023 and now again coming up May 2024. I'm not so sure I would've fell so hard for this beautiful country if it wasn't for finding Authentic Ecuador. What Linda set up for my little group the first time I went, was absolutely amazing! So much so that as soon as I got back to the States I convinced my girlfriend she needs to see this place and off we went again exactly a year later... the second was mostly in the highlands while the first trip was a more wider ranged walk about. I recommend letting Linda and Authentic Ecuador run with it...no matter the level of adventure, you can't go wrong with this team. On either trip, the hotels were amazing and the food was just as much so! Authentic Ecuador gets the little details right! An adventure of a lifetime... so much so, we've decided to spend a lot more time down there in the near future!

Each day was a great adventure that brought us to beautiful staging areas. Our guides provided lots of information and encouragement. We stayed in a variety of lodges that each had its own character and warmth. Definitely recommend if you like the great outdoors!!
- by Julie StineThis was the most amazing experience. It was about appreciating the people, the culture, the environment. Each leg of the joyurney was something different, exposing you to a new challenge or new way of thinking. Highly recommend

Excellent private tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic week in Ecuador. We learned about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - she was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested.

Having an itinerary with the ability to be flexible with event times was a welcomed first! Bamba was very immediate with their responses with we had questions during our stay as well! Also, scheduling our last minute Covid test so we could re-enter the US was glutch! Also the Hostel's staff enhanced the trip! Glad we selected that option!
- by Chauncey DanielsCould have spent an extra day in Inislivi and removed Chugchilan. Another night in La Esperanza would be nice. Surprisingly the people in Guamote seemed cold - nice hostel but not too exciting since nothing going on that day. Loved the trip. Our own extra days at the start in Quito and at the end in Guayaquil were valuable.

Spent four wonderful days at Tierra del Volcan. Braved the wind and rain for a bike ride to El Tambo. Condors, ibis, caracara, peregrine falcons, and smiles all around. Jorge and Maria are wonderful hosts and their love of the chagra culture and the Ecuadorian culture were inspiring. Thanks so much, And Empanadas!
- by ShawnWe had an amazing time on our horseback ride. The kids loved the chance to ride fast, the views were beautiful, and the before and after drinks were great. Thanks for a memory we will always remember

Really nice activities and very professional people. They take everything to the last details on transfers, meals etc. I highly recommend them.
- by AndresAlmeidaI am an avid mountain fan and was until now only in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on the road. Since we liked the charm of Ecuador very much and there is a huge selection of mountains for semi-experienced climbers we have decided for this tour. The 10 days of the tour will be fully utilized and the difficulty of the mountains will gradually increase. To be sufficiently acclimatized, we climbed 3 "lower" mountains before we ventured to the first big volcano, Cotopaxi at almost 6000m. The climb was not easy, but exactly the adventure we had wanted. After a day off to rest, we then went to climb Chimborazo. This mountain is a lot more technical than Cotopaxi but with the professional instruction of our guides we always felt safe and well prepared. I can highly recommend this tour to every mountain fan, as the experience and the view are unique! Many thanks to Gulliver for the great planning and these memories!

I absolutely lived Quito and everything about this package! The drivers were friendly and helped me practice my Spanish. The hotel room was comfortable, the hotel staff was nice, and the included breakfast was pretty good. My favorite part of the package was the city tour. Vicki was such an amazing guide! She taught me so much about the history of the city and the country. I cannot believe the quality I got for the price I paid; the package has a great value, and I highly recommend it!
